Name five ero and five non-ero doujin-only touhou-only mangaka that are good enough to compete with top commercial mangaka.

>> No.12772530

>>12772489
That's not a fair comparison. The vast majority of circles who draw Touhou, even those who draw a whole shit ton of it, aren't "Touhou-exclusive."

It's also not fair because the ones who were good enough to compete with top commercial mangaka simply break out and... become mangaka. Hikawa started writing 篠崎さん気をオタしかに (Shinozaki-san) in 2013, but it doesn't mean that Saku Saku Tei wasn't producing quality work for years before that.

>> No.12772576

>>12772530
>it's not fair
It absolutely is. I'm sure you don't understand since you think "all those great Touhou works will be lost forever" for some infathomable reason. All you are saying is parody works are inherently inferior to originals, which wouldn't be the case if they were truly great.

Let's change the terms to circles, then. Five ero. Four more non-ero. Name them.

>All you are saying is parody works are inherently inferior to originals
I didn't say this. Sure, most self-published works (of any kind) happen to be inferior to most serialized manga, mostly because it's a competition between amateurs and professionals. There's nothing "inherent" about parody work being shit, though, and there's nothing making your average Comiket work inferior to your average COMITIA work.

I have no idea why you insist that the entirety of Touhou Project doujinshi is crap anyway (and if you're not, it sure looks like it, as it looks like you're just going to town on somebody disappointed that there are good Touhou works not being scanned).

You said it then, and you're still saying it now. You are confusing the terms being used here.
Professional simply means "paid for," and doujin means "self-published." Anyone can publish his own work, pro or amateur. The only competition here is imaginary, along with the rest of the claims in your post.

Who makes these great works that need to be scanned? If they can't be named, then nothing of value was lost.

I know everything you've just said very well and I have no idea why you think I don't. If I've said something inaccurate, tell me what it is.

But if you really want circles that surpass the "nothing of value" bar (presumably because you're going to pick apart the art and tell us why and exactly how they are shit), fine. I get Saku Saku Tei and Hyper Summer Wars for free, since they're run by published mangaka. After that, well, let's see... I nominate that Morino Hon, Shigure Ebi, and... I dunno, Carcharias have published at least one doujinshi that was sufficiently quality to pass the "of no value" bar.

I know everything you've just said very well and I have no idea why you think I don't. Let me revise my statement to curb your autism - comparing Comiket to serialized manga is MOSTLY a competition between amateurs and professionals.

But if you really want circles that surpass the "nothing of value" bar (presumably because you're going to pick apart the art and tell us why and exactly how they are shit), fine. I really have no idea what you're trying to achieve here by claiming that the entirety of Touhou doujinshi consists of nothing of value.
