It was pretty fantastic but for me my favourite is still Peach for the Stars. Very high energy setlist from both albums, singles and early history. Mostly good guest appearances. Great costumes. Stage design and lighting was perfect which also helped improve recording quality. Awesome remixed intro and ending songs each day and the first concert appearance of The Downtown Momokuro band.
Hell even the credits song was good.

My main gripe with Kokuritsu is too many shared songs between each day but I suppose it couldn't be helped with the single history theme in the first half. Extra stuff in double pack helps make up for it.Regardless I already watched each day once and day two second disc twice so it was pretty damn good.

Does anyone feel that momoclo has gotten worse at singing? I used to really like them back in 2012 and then lost interest. I tried watching some of their most recent DVDs but holy shit I can't stand their singing voices anymore. You'd think that they'd be even better now that they're super popular, but I guess they're too busy for vocal lessons and they've gone to shit!

Not really they seem much better based on
FOLK MURA / Girls Factory / FNS and other shows were they sing live.

Momoka can certainly hold her own. The other girls ability varies more for example Reni often gets overexcited and raises her voice and changes tone too much. Still they have unique voices which I like.

Sorry but the talent akb appeals is to the largest number of autists willing to buy thousands of CD's for a popularity vote. That is fine if you like that kind of thing but lets not be delusional. They have had more singles than I can count but most have been trash, I know three good akb songs. Momoclo output has been much higher quality.

I would also prefer to watch a group that can actually sing live (to a live band mind you which is harder than miming to a song) and dance energetically rather than stepping side to side or around in circles.

AKB also had to beg to come to Kishdan Banpaku 2014 while everyone else was invited. Trying to be cool and copy what Momoclo did three years ago. Not to mentioned Momoclo is respected by musicians, singers, producers, tarento in the industry for being hard-working, humble and genuine to work with.

Summer Dive 2013 had both some really fantastic and very weak moments. (awkward / random / bad guests and dancers mostly) but that bit was great.

Seeing them sing and run around on the field was awesome and they will ever do a concert like that again.

They do not have enough fans for a world tour maybe not even in Asia.

They would have to do what The Alfee did back in the day and fly in a bunch fans. Mononofu are hardcore enough for it to work though.

In a way they have put themselves in a bad position with their running theme are making it to the top and following their dreams, Did they even set a goal after Kokuritsu? I dont see how they can top what they have done this year, management would want a new emotional moment.

Also don't they have monthly stage shows planned next year. I expect them to pull back a bit then release a new album.

They mostly stood around awkward even after being explicitly taught fan chants / involvement before many songs. Only seen myself, a few inebriated people and some Japanese fans really get into excluding those big songs where everyone went crazy.

I do not want to see momoclo in such awkward circumstances especially when they rely on fan interaction. I would rather go see them in Japan.

Maybe they could do a big show in France I heard they have a large fan base there due to Japanese TV channel. I heard they like idols in Taiwan also but I would be very apprehensive about such a move.

i know i am seeing too much into this, but am i the only one who thinks maybe Ariyasu is thinking of a solo career. I wont be surprised if she leaves Momoclo first. This is not a put down on the rest of the girls, but i always have believed she has more talent as a singer than they, and since Momoclo already had a single when she joined them, i feel she hasnt fit in with the rest of the girls at 100%
