I can't really give any advice on how to beat Yuyuko as Komachi other than "do what Magister does, except when he does stupid things."
He's the only Komachi I recall I had trouble with. Not that many people play the slacker, but...

>> No.1253003

>>1252992
I haven't played Magister in months, and he always refused to his Komachi against me.

What the hell did he do? Komachi's heavy projectiles occasionally manage to get through(But getting them off period is a challenge in itself), but Yuyuko can spam 200 degree tracking bullets and fill the screen with other shit faster and easier than even Patchouli. Komachi's 3 pixel high and slower than molasses graze attack isn't worth shit, and there's no way to close into melee range if the opponent is faster than you by the time you've cleared the bullets regardless. On top of that, if caught by a melee attack on the ground at all, Yuyuko can pull off that crazy 3000 damage combo with next to no effort. Yuyuko's ridiculous graze attack makes even try to run at her while she's recovering impossible.

Komachi's just fucking screwed against Yuyucow.

>> No.1253020

>Yuyuko's ridiculous graze attack makes even try to run at her while she's recovering impossible.

Hint: those graze attacks, which I assume you mean 623b/c or 66C, are both easily punishable on block.

Also, maybe it's just me, maybe it's the character, but I can't handle pressure all that well. Everytime you had me in the corner, I ended up taking something in the face. Magister is relentless in his assault, which is a pain for me. Although it's hilarious how he falls for every single butterfly ring. All of them, always. His abba-fu is weak.

>> No.1253023

>>1253020
Hint: THOSE GRAZE ATTACKS ONLY CAME OUT WHEN I WAS TRYING TO ATTACK.

I normally try to play extremely aggressively(Which lead to always fun games against Magister), but I've learned not to do that against Yuyuko, as it always ends up in horrifyingly large amounts of projectiles.

>> No.1253027

Okay, well I'm out then.

Your best bet is to move slow and steady. Use the 623 spirit fountain and C canceled into charged 214C to lay down cover. And just block if it doesn't look good. Komachi takes a LOT of patience to play well.
>>1253020
A lot of characters have to commit entirely to pressure strings that aren't airtight... Otherwise they can not possibly break guard. Mashing an invincible spellcard during someone's pressure isn't tricking anyone.

As a Komachi main, I love fighting Yuyuko. Once you learn some tricks against her she's a breeze. She can be melee'd out of a LOT of her shit, but it just takes patience to see the opening, as Dimglow says.

A B ShuffleDeck

Don't use the shoulders at all. Only downside is when the battery runs low it gets sluggish, but just swap batteries and it is usually okay.

I use a pad because I can't play fighters on the keyboard (I can't switch from using my left hand to my right hand for inputs, it throws me off really fucking bad) and I will say this against SWR...it's still not super easy to just flick through cards with the shoulder buttons. At least a PS2 controller, it screws up your other inputs.

SWR's pretty forgiving at the 623 input timing, though. Too forgiving, actually, there's a lot of times I want to 236 and do it too fast and get the DP.

If you want it simple, Aya was kind of nerfed, Youmu was nerfed hard, and Reisen and Komachi(arguably) got buffed. Everyone else just has frame or property changes, maybe a few spellcard tweaks here and there.

Sakuya's Special Stopwatch was changed, and now it's glitchtastic. I dislike it even more than regular timestop now. In case you missed it, I made a Timestop_States_v103, just to show you how useless it can be.

Tenshi had the blockstun on her drills shortened, so that's an incredible nerf. That was the whole reason to play her, because she was the only character with absolute lockdown from anywhere on screen.

Alice's buffs were nice, too, I should have mentioned that. You just can't touch her with 214 spam in the air when she's at a lower altitude. I'm not a big Suika fan, so I can't really say what's what about her overall.

Still, 1.03 ruined Cutter Komachis like me with reduced untech time, but gave a lot for desperately needed fixes, like whiffed f.5A(which is still pretty bad). Lose a little, gain a lot.

The OP's image tells you exactly what each of the options under Profile are and anything under options is fairly self-explanatory. What are you having trouble with specifically? I was able to figure most of it out without any difficulties and I can't read any of the Kanji (though I do have Katakana on my side).

Also, how do I access Practice mode? Just downloaded it today, Immaterial and Missing Power's practice mode was open from the start.

Huh... I swear that Practice mode was available from the start. Anyways, regarding your troubles with the spellcards and whatnot, go here:

Even the demo of SWR had Practice available at the start, it sounds like you're doing something incorrectly.

I have nothing to rage over, really. There wasn't any cheese to it. I wasn't expecting someone who knows what they're doing to connect, so those first few matches were me trying to dick around with new deck setups.

The RAGE didn't happen until you raped me with my own main: Suika.
