pretty disappointed in some of the brackets this year some of these girls shouldnt get passes to the quarterfinals. havn't worked out the full list but some good matches early on

It's pretty obvious why Milky won. NMB has been in a pretty awful position after yet another scandal from her this year. More than the other sister groups NMB really focuses heavily into her and Yamamoto, and when she failed to rank in the election it was a really dire situation for the group.

I wonder why management continues to push her though. She's shown time and time again that she will continue to have scandals, why does she continually get pushed over other members in NMB? If I was a girl in NMB, I would be incredibly frustrated. We all know that SKE's management is ridiculous, but NMB's is just as bad if not worse. While SKE is incredibly controlling of their members in a very detrimental manner, at least they attempt to push more than 2 members.

Thank god it's a solo song that is easily ignorable though, I would be done if Milky was center of the next single.

Takamina looked super anorexic. I hope she's okay. I still can't tell if Paruru is a bitch or a pile of aspergers, but her lack of enthusiasm was the highlight of the night. It's really weird and gross how Sae went from "I am focusing 100% on SNH" last year, to now being team captain in SKE and in the 38th single.

It's also worth noting that basically no one from tentoumu chu is in the 38th single's elected members. I wonder if there will be a push of them as a group in the near future.

It's funny how little faith management has in Mayuyu as a center. For good reason too, she just doesn't appeal to a large spectrum of people. Outside of her core fanbase, she's not very well received. Sakura isn't an answer at all though, though I am biased as fuck because I think it's gross how she suddenly became such a gravure whore at such a young age. They're both idols that don't seem to appeal outside of their fanbases, and I think that's a definite no for center. I also wonder what kind of shit song we might get stuck with when you have Mayuyu and Sakura as centers and a double sized Senbatsu.

Mayuyu and Sakura seem like safe choices to me, especially since Sakura's popularity has been surging. KnP just squeaked past the million sales mark, so I think management is pretty risk adverse right now. But I'm not looking forward to the new single since I hated Labrador and KnP.

And Milky winning isn't a big deal, since it's just a solo debut as I understand it. A nice consolation prize after falling out of Senbatsu and right before Milky's birthday too.

Mayu's all about being a "perfect idol". She overdoes it so much. Everything she does seems so forced. Moreso than almost any girl in any of of the group, I wonder who the real Mayuyu is, and if she even has a real personality. The attempts this year at attempting to give her variety life just makes her seem even more forced. She's a boring wallflower, and a terrible center.

Sakura always seems aimless and without a major backbone. She's scooted along from one place to the next without any sign of life.

I think more than anything else, a center should have their own energy. You can say that Paruru is a lazy asperger that has no motivation, but that feels like her own energy. The opposite of energy is not an absence of energy (like in Paruru's case), but rather nothing at at all. Mayuyu and Sakura have nothing.

I think she changed a lot in the last year, specially after sousenkyo, probably with the victory she lost the weight she had in her back and everyone have to grow up and mature, people change and she's not the ciborg idol she was before, still, she's an orthodox idol but now she's more expresive, funny.....to sum up, she seems a human being now
