Enough U.S. politics, what's going on in Japan with the recent resignation of the PM? What happens next? Has anyone been following the situation there? Does anyone have knowledge of how Japanese politics works?

Pic related: Koizumi needs to return to power.

most of the japanese PM has a really short terms since they either resign or the house of rep decides to dissolve. anyway the PM in Japan has as much power as secretary of state in US. all the bureaucrats run the politics in japan and bureaucrats are owned by businesses

china is extremely angry about koizumi, which is kind of ironic considering how he's much more liberal than his predecessors

Except when it's Koizumi because then the Russians and Iranians aren't the only countries with international badasses as their figureheads.

He was doing fine. Of course, by fine, at least he actually made some progress as opposed to his predecessors. But he just had to pull that shrine visit nonsense which the nationalism benefits were only marginal at best and only attracts the attention of paranoid right-wing cowards with nothing better to do. Japanese PM is a thankless job, that's why he got out earlier. No Japanese with a sane mind wants the thankless and stressful job.

Koizumi was promising, but is over hyped by America. The staggering 0.2% Japanese economy growth was severely overrated. And roughly 70% of Japanese still refuses to destroy Article 9 which was pretty interesting despite the Maverick's popularity and achievements. Sadly, Koizumi picked a wrong friend called Bush and made Japan another Victim of the Iraq War. I mean, it's quite an achievement to actually allow Japanese forces to be deployed overseas for the first time since the pacifist years only to have them serve in a crappy half-ass war with hardly any gains was made. Obviously, JSDF suffered further lost of popularity among the populace thanks to the Iraq war.

What I do know is that the House of Representatives chooses the next PM, most likely one the top leaders of the LDP will be picked as PM. Fukuda is still running as the President of the LDP, but most likely will be replaced by Taro Aso. Aso will most likely be the PM until the Diet calls for new elections.

Want to learn more about japanese politics? Just slam your face into the wall repeatedly until all rationality and logic fails you, and you'll have about the same experience.

No seriously, their system is corrupt ant twisted. Worst part is everyone living in Japan knows it, but they've always been taught that the nail who sticks up gets hammered down, so the system will never change.

I like Koizumi too.

THE WIRE == SEASON 6 PLOT

So I showed up with McNulty to the restaurant. Pearlman was there, so was Cedric. She was teasingly biting Cedric's ear and shit, very hot. Jimmy at first seemed a little jealous; afterall, it was him, not Cedric, that was first fucked Pearlman. I took Jimmy's hand and shoved it down my pants, to my already erect PENIS. After he stroked my dick a few times, his anger at Cedric and Pearlman vanished. I walked over to Pearlman and began to fondle her dick. She, in turn began to prostate massage me while jerking me off with Jimmy. McNulty's dick transformed into a watermelon, and Cedric began to feast upon this dick watermelon hybrid. Suddenly Bunk showed up and said, "Look out the window, kids." We all looked out the window, and there was Omar balancing on top of a UFO jerking off, his come spraying all over the roofs and streets of Baltimore. Everywhere his cum landed, flowers began to grow. Soon Baltimore, a city which has known only drugs and murder, turned into Tokyo-3 and America turned into Japan. Then I turned in Shinji Ikari, and the conclusion of The Wire season 6 is Neon Genesis Evangelion.
