I've been buying beef bones for like three months now so I can make a really good stock for some ramen. The last time I made beef stock I didn't brown the bones or vegetables beforehand, so it came out weird. Plus I didn't have enough bones so the stock didn't gel up as much as I had hoped when it was put in the fridge.

Also, I can't buy pork bones here from grocery stores.

I still haven't tried making noodles though. I've never made noodles. Would it be alright to buy dry ramen noodles?

Hey faggots, wanna learn how to make easy delicious ramen. But cant because you're too busy being a dirty NEET with no cooking skills? Here's anon-kuns guide too making ramen at home.

1. Combine 2 cups of water with Dashi soup stock. Or pork/chicken stock if you cant find that shit. You should it's at any asian grocery store

2. Let stock come too a boil, Add in KIKKOMAN soya sauce, remember faggots. If it's not kikkoman, it's not quality

4. Throw some sesame oil in that bitch, 2 table spoons should do it.

5. Garlic and ginger, i cant stress it enough. maybe 2 cloves. Diced up. Or just smash them if you're lazy. We are going to strain it out later any ways

6. Sesame oil, maybe 2 table spoons.

7. Bring that bitch too a boil.

8. While stock is boiling, take this time too ready your toppings and noodles. You can use real noodles, or those packages if you're poor as fuck like i am. I usually soft boil 2 eggs, and chop up some green onion. Buy some naruto fish cake if you wanna get fancy.

9. MEAT. Fast fry some pork belly slices or bacon if you're pleb level in some soy sauce.

10. Strain soup stock and noodles, put noodles in a bowl, pour soup stock over. Add soft boiled eggs, pork strips and toppings

11. Bam, some fine ass ramen to enjoy while playing the date scene in your favourite VN.

Pic related, some ramen i've made. You can add miso paste too it if you like instead of soy sauce for a different feel. Just remember too add it last because if you cook it too long it looses flavour.

I hate you guys so much. Now I am craving a bowl of ramen so badly and I have no means to get any at this point in the evening.

There's a great ramen franchise in my city called Hakataya Ramen. They do a bowl of Nakahama ramen for about 10 bucks and you can get a free bowl of ramen noodles to refill your soup once you finish them.
The place is usually packed with Japanese businessmen and Japanese uni students, which is generally a good way to tell if a ramen joint outside of Japan is good.

I also went to a Japanese restaurant called Wagaya last weekend as part of a local weeb meetup and they were pretty nice. They do a variety of different ramens and different bases. A bowl of ramen there is 13 dollars, but it also comes with a bowl of rice and some gyoza.

I love living in a city with a large asian population, I'm never short of good Japanese food.
