Ok, as I was saying, if by alive means getting ports of indie pc games and vn's of some low quality anime, then yes.
I was talking about the mobile port being the most logical decision for them; personally I would love Kancolle being a Age of empires like game, with campaign with story and everything, mmo like serives for the pvp, and possibility to trade stuff with other admirals, making alllies ttk's and go against some idiot who married some shitty boat, the possibilities are endless, whats your dream Kancolle game /jp/ ?

The main problem of showing you a vid gameplay of Gungnir is that it's difficult to explain. But I think you can get that there are a lot of factors involved.

It's good to know the stats, but I thoght more in the direction of combat effect. For example, the stats on bombers says nothing about their role in aerial battles, and the stats on shells say nothing about their additional effects.

I know those things are easy for people who know a thing or two about naval warfare, but I'm only on kancolle for the girls so I came asking.

It's not that I'm not prepared for event beyond resources, you know. Love alone will take me far enough, love supplied with preparedness will take me even further. 5-4 grinding for cranes is what shoot my TTK level this high, and I try to sortie 5-4 fleets as diverse as possible so no one gets over-leveled compared to the rest.

I got 2 Akitsu Marus, at least 3 Hiryuus and not sure how many Akagis and Kagas (with a Maruyu as well), but still no Taihou.

I don't know about that, I have managed to fool the desire sensor multiple times and yet I have never got ships like Nagato, which I don't really care about anyway.

I did LSC with the intention of getting Hiryuu and Zuikaku along the way (got Shoukaku during Arpeggio event). Literally my first LSC attempt was Hiryuu. Got a Zuikaku some time after spring event and at least 2 more of her since.

I guess you should try to do a few more LSCs for the CVs you still don't have.

Perhaps next time they will introduce a score multiplier for different class for different class of ships. Said score multiplier changes depending on which ship is attacking which type, so a BB attacking a DD will get lower multiplier compared to a DD attacking a ship of the same class and vice versa.

However, this will make MVP unpredictable and since MVP is important for grinding, I doubt they will implement this.

Sarcasm aside, yes but it's more like ADHD. I tend to get distracted when I sortie and do other things while the game does node or battle transition. Thus, most often than not, my subs will get stuck in one node or the result screen for too long. I don't sortie them immediately after they come back though unless I'm extremely tried and wish to finish the dailies as soon as possible.

Can someone explain what I'm doing wrong when it comes to training CL/DDs at 4-3?

Here's my set up.

Kiso Kai (42) - Sonar/Sonar/Depth Charge
Yuubari Kai (35) - Sonar/Depth Charge/20.3 x2
KTKM Kai (32) - Midget Sub/Torpedo
Ooi Kai (21) - Midget Sub/Torpedo
RJ Kai (63)
Akagi Kai (64)

Carriers are set up for Air Superiority with the other slots for dive bombers.

Every single time I try, I get sent to the south node and without fail I get two or more ships hit to red.

Do I just need higher levels on the CLTs? I didn't feel like it should be necessary when I'm not aiming for the boss node and everyone and their dog touts it as the best map for training CLs and DDs

Line ahead reduces your defense and evasion, go defensive when you hit south and pray you don't meet a BB. I know, it's jack shit considering RNG but you would want to increase survivability as much as you can.

In my opinion, your CLT is too low leveled for this, boost them up to their Kai2, then again, I understand if you wish to wipe out as much as enemy as you can in the beginning. That could also explain the line ahead as well.

I had similar feelings at first, but once your ships git a little gudder the south node isn't so bad. I usually plow through it just as easily as the sub nodes, even if I get the Ta formation.

But for your immediate problem, maybe bring along some higher level / stronger classes of ships instead of trying to level four CLs at once.

From what I see you're leveling CLTs instead. The only "good" CL there is Yuubari but because she only excels in specific maps. Try leveling the any of the Sendai class or better yet, all of them since they have the best stats and they give very special equipments. Also, Isuzu Kai Ni too.

I wouldn't recommend using CLTs. They're great if you hit J, but they'll compete with your flagship for MVP. I'd swap KTKM with another CL and Ooi with a BB; the CL with help clean up the subs while the BB will take out or at least absorb the Southern BBs hits.

Don't. The only CVs you'll meet while grinding are in J and even then there's only a 1/3 chance of drawing them. Fill one slot on each CV with green planes to at least grab air parity and the rest with blues to take out the scrubs early. Warning though, RJ will compete for MVP with your flagship on SS nodes. Also, don't forget Saiun.

Btw, CLTs are decent at the very least in ASW imo, at most they're just mediocre. Like another Anon said, you can't ask them to do two things at once; order them to hunt subs or to take out surface ships preemptively, there is no in-between.

Using one of them for SS/surface combos with your setup in PvP is a decent strategy though.

Meanwhile, Kaga will be deployed in every sortie by every incompetent admiral who has her thanks to the big slot, and she's easier to get than most other carriers. The green dragon might be third simply because she drops a lot.

I see. Get some CV and CVL into your fleet. Events aside, they are pretty useful and well suited for many roles. Clear stage 4 while you're at it, they generally require more diversive fleet so you can use that as a motivation to develop your talent pool. DD/CL wise, 4-1 will be a good spot to level them due to sub nodes and once you're ready, bring them to 4-3 as well.

In terms of elite DD, they are a huge investment that require time (minus Shigure and Yuudachi) as their second remodel can be quite a pain to grind so do take note of that.

About crafting, I'm a bit on the fence for it. Craft it if you want but don't overdo it. LSC is something of a luxury for me but that's just personal preference. If grinding ships and completing maps are your priority, I would suggest putting crafting ships on hold and focus on your equipment.
