I'm too lazy to get on with it, so here is my idea of a cheating tool for the game.
Someone should code an application pinned on the window so you can play while having a recommended word on the side, kinda like in the image.

You would type the first letter in the game, the application would put out the longest word, and you would just have to type the remaining letters of the word.
Letters already typed would appear in red in the application for easier reading/typing.
Errors in typing should be displayed so the player can press backspace and type normally again.
Words already used should be memorized, as you can't use twice the same word.
For optimization's sake, you could remove most words by counting enough letters for the word list (for each letter) to reach the 150 limit of extreme mode. Or even use a script to type the words directly in the game in your stead, but I guess it would remove most of the fun from the game.
It looks like they use SCOWL with a size of 80 as a dictionary.

In the end, you just have to deny your oponent the current popular words amongst lamer and he shits his pant and disconects since they're too busy copying each others instead of finding new words.

Usually, people using enders will reply to beginer-ender with a beginer-ender, like if you say yearly they'll reply with resterday, so if you start with a long beginer-ender, they'll go for the first one on their list, but it's usually a more-known and shorter one, so if you get a y ender, and you reply with yawningly or yearningly, you get a few points in advance, which you can secure with yachtsmanship. My point when using -x's are because x starters usually end with sweet letters (xenophobia - antiestablishmentarianism; xylophone - endocrinologists, establishmentarianism). The thing is, you can orient the game toward s ending easily, and superminicomputers loops into superminicomputer, so in the end it's down to R-begining followups. I don't have a clear idea of how many s-begining x-ending words there are, but there should be enough x-begining s-ending to counter x-locks.

There's actually a bit more strategy in this game than getting all the long words. Yeah, they have their intrinsic value, but popping off long words that just let the opponent pop off one of theirs is no good.

What I like to do is get a feel for the letter that the opponent has prepared for the least. (Usual culprits are -y, -k and -z) Meanwhile, I try to minimize my own vulnerabilities - I know that ending my words in -s and -e will likely get me into those same dangerous -y -k -x and -z words, so I sometimes stop a word short to get a better outcome. A good case is using "dreamy" instead of dreaminess. Sure, dreamy is worth less, but it should be considered as an 'offensive' word, that (potentially) lessens that opponent's prospects for a good word, while long words like establishmentarianism and superminicomputers are 'defensive' words, because while they significantly improve your own position, it allows the enemy room to maneuver (pop off superconduction (def) or military (off)).

However, making a routine to exclude them automatically (quick conditions being ignoring -es/-s enders) might slash and burn proper non-plural words that are similar such as mathematics or testes.
