I'd say DaS = DeS > DaSII.
Both have their pros and cons when compared to each other, and I really wouldn't put one of them above the other.

I played Dark Souls and really liked it, so I gave Demon's Souls a try. I couldn't get into it, honestly. I just couldn't understand things like world tendency, and I thought that Estus/bonfires worked way better than shortcuts/grass.

Then again I never liked Pokemon, Counter Strike, Zelda, MOBAs and other popular games either.

yeah, grass was gay, estus is much better. estus regen at bonfires worked perfectly as checkpoints, and actually made it harder. you get so much grass that you'll never run out, compared to the limited amount of uses in the flask. demon's souls is still good though, maybe you'll get into it at one point.

I never actually did a magic build in DaS. Figured I'd make one with all the new spells in DaS2 and see if anything sticks. It's actually pretty fun, but the only worthwhile spells you get early on are the millions of Soul Arrow variants, especially since Lightning Spear family spells got overnerfed to the point of uselessness. Spamming missile spells is the most boring thing ever though.

I think Soul Appease and Yearn are my favorite spells. I just use spells like those to supplement my melee and it works nicely.

I don't think I can handle invading Alice. She would probably run to the fog door only to discover she can't leave (unless it's a boss fog). Someone actually did this when I invaded them, and I just dropped them an effigy and BC'd out. I didn't have the heart.

Funny thing is, it's very possible he could have won. I never wear optimal stuff, I just use what I feel like. I've become fond of running around with the invisible armor+heide helm.

I would invade Yukari. I don't think it would end particularly well.
