Has anyone previously attended the jpop festival in San Fran? The Japanese film festival is coinciding with the event and I was wondering if its a worthwhile time. It's this weekend.

I remember going to Los Angeles maybe 10 years ago and seeing an entire road's sidewalk being taking up by homeless people. It was completely covered in cardboard boxes and garbage bags.
