I'm planning on making a home-made arcade with my TV and some emulators. I just don't have the hardware.

Do you think I can make my own DDR pad and Taiko drum? I will do it if there is a way. I don't know if I can make a DDR pad, but it's available, I'd rather buy, but the Taiko drums are very expensive.

Make a backup before hand with a different folder name from the one you copied. Apply it in the right order and it should be fine. If you encounter any IC card problem like I did afterwards just overwrite your bemanitools with the new one available at PSun.

I've been playing a few different rhythm games lately, and while they're really addicting, I feel dissatisfied. Just pushing buttons isn't enough for me anymore. My body wants to get in the groove and move to the beat. My primal urges are robbing me of my usually composed playstyle, and I can't turn back now.

So, are there any /jp/ approved dance pad games?

Most of the action seems to be in arcades and on older consoles, but I heard about Stepmania, and it looks sweet. Since the content is user created, there's like touhou and shit. I'm this fucking close to ordering this baby so I can get in on that scene. Will that satisfy my cravings?

Most soft pads are good for casual use, but if you're serious about arrow smashing games, it's probably worth spending a little more for a quality pad. There aren't any good pads in the market nowadays.

I read good things about this particular mat, that it rivals foam inserts in terms of durability and anti-slip. I guess I could technically afford a hard mat if I knew this will be an amazing new thing in my life and makes me permanently see the world with starry eyes, but I don't quite know that yet.

I have a cobalt flux but you could make something like that yourself pretty easily. it's just a big wood slab with a metal plate on top for a ground, and then 9 square metal plates on top separated by velcro circles in each corner and held in place with wood screws through said corners. All there is after that is plexiglass over each square.

Assuming you can find the right metal plating to use, it'd be very easy to assemble.

both of these things were the problem
when i unchecked read only while my ea3config file had the wrong service information in it it was giving me a 5-2002-0000 error code but once i fixed the ea3 config file everything worked
so maybe i helped anyone trying to fix that error code in the future
i don't know why but when i start the game with the update installed its still showing my game version as the 2012 900 one
i'm not stupid, i did everything right my first try with the original game but for some reason this update is messing me up
i think i'm just retarded today
its probably an easy fix, but for now i need to hammer the hydraulic lift out of my office chair because it broke today

occasionally they'll glow but it tends to fade before i can select the song

I charged/turned on my PSP after a really long time of not playing it and found out I still had both Uta No Prince Sama Music games on it. They're pretty fun but I think I liked the songs in the first one more than the sequel, even though it has Quartet Night and better costumes.

Your technique works but if you're using a KOC, you probably won't transition well into an arcade controller. The only time you use index for scratch+3 is if your playstyle is 1048 and your fingers are quick enough to reach scratch.

I wouldn't do this because you are not covering keys 6 or 7

For more common play styles, scratch+3 is done by your left thumb or right thumb.

For Scratch+1357, I do Lthumb, Rthumb, Rindex, Rring in that order while scratching with pinky.

If the chart is too busy you can also use your left thumb to hit both 1 and 3 at the same time. It's not accurate but it works.
