Expedition 6 and 11, unless you're lacking taihou, trying to get good planes, or using retarded setups on your CVs, your bauxite should be increasing slowly but steadily.

CLTs were overpowered anyways, and they're still useful, I never used them too much though.

The album thing only means we will getting more girls soon.

I just wish they would give those Kai 2 to ships that aren't pretty much garbage in non-kai2 form
Ayanami, RJ, Myoukous, Hiryuu, Sendais

seriously, none of those are any useful before they get to their Kai 2 state.
Ayanami is a subpar DD. RJ is one of the worst CVL. Myoukous are subpar CA. Sendais are subpar CL. Hiryuu was the second worst CV.

I appreciate the whole "Make useless ships not useless" sentiment, it's getting a bit much with leveling all those dumb ships that you normally would never use.

I really don't like ayanami, so I just bring her every now and then to my pvp matches, but I don't actively level her, and after her kai ni, I probably won't use her anyways.

Yes. They've been performing terribly badly.
I took them to PVP because I haven't been for a long time. They might as well have not participated in the battle: the initial torpedo strike did jack shit.

So I thought, well maybe that's just the RNG. So I took them to 2-5 to clear the monthly. They were useful against the mooks, but they missed the torpedo against the 3 battleships at the boss node. I had a favourable position and everything, why did they miss?
In the end I dealt with 2-5 with Tone and Chikuma, and Yuubari.

Every other CVL but Houshou does what she does but better. And cuteness won't let you clear maps. Not to mention that cuteness is subjective and I find RJ disgusting.

And if they didn't stuff Kai2s full of otherwise unobtainable equipment, I wouldn't bother. Worse yet, some of those garbage ships become top of their class after the kai 2, making it a bad decision to not get them there so you can use them.

Only inefficient scrubs do the whole 'use ships you like' thing.
I only like ships that are useful.

I don't have Taihou and every PVP forces me to bring out the big planes (because my opponent are assholes) so I don't gain much baux at all.

For any given ship, there's always some anon who likes her, no matter how unlikeable she might seem to you.

As I said, her charm is hard to see at first. Her art isn't very good, and her voice can come off as squeaky and annoying. But once you get used to that, she has this irresistible sweetness to her. I also like that she calls you goshujinsama. Even though there's very little context and it could be seen as pandering, it makes her the only ship I know of who calls you something else than teitoku or shireikan, which makes me feel like she desires an unique kind of relationship with you.

Whoever advised me to play WitPAE, fuck you. Nevermind that the game is brutally unwieldy and managing supplies and factories drives me nuts, when my yasen squadrons can't even identify what they sank is complete bullshit. They reported Enterprise destroyed 4 times already, but turns out they sank Lexington, Wasp, Yorktown and Hornet instead. Is it that much to ask to properly identify targets, or just report that they sank flattop instead of fucking Enterprise which is on repairs for at least half a year more after Pear Harbor.

That and 50k starting resources and at least three trained carriers. CVLs and CAVs might do something since it's the aviation event in addition to being Midway, but their role will probably be outside the complete dick ass maps, so they won't matter much.

No. When you're deploying CVL you're usually not going to be packing them with all reppu (if air superiority is so tough you may as well use CVs for the extra planes). I did a bunch of 5-4 runs a day for the transport daily and 10 kills daily but that was where I stopped. I barely had the motivation to do the 10 expedition daily.

Blame for Midway is shared between a large part of the IJN's senior staff.

Yamamoto is to blame for birthing the operation in the first place, and threating the General Staff in Tokyo with his resignation if they didn't OK it. He also proceeded to "game" the wargames for the operation aboard Yamato, with his referees bringing back sunken Japanese ships and stepping in when something went wrong for the Japanese force.

GHQ is to blame for not firing Yamamoto or allowing him to resign, and instead allowed him to throw away two thirds of what was then the most powerful carrier fleet in the world, for a tiny island that they likely couldn't capture and hold.

The other senior officers who commanded the forces allotted to Midway, and all of whom never directly questioned the wargames on Yamato or changed their plans while at sea and out from being directly under Yamamoto's eye.

All in all, Midway was nothing more than a waste of ships and planes for Japan, and the operation itself should never have happened. If anybody wants to learn more about it, especially from the Japanese perspective, Shattered Sword is about the best book on the subject.

Getting 2-3 ships in each class fully remodeled and modernized (excluding AA) is what I'd be focusing on if I was you.

Currently my highest level ship is lv62 Kaga, RJ is Lv 52. Others all below lv45. I am trying to level up Isuzu, KTKM, Ooi to clear 1-5 boss. I see. Just so you know, "Isuzu farming" refers to leveling and remodeling Isuzus to their first kai to be used as AA modernization fodder, not just leveling your Isuzu.

Also, if you're trying to clear 1-5, the trick is fleet composition and equipment, not so much the level of your ships. Having the right composition is the most important, but having a fair amount of ASW equip will allow even low level fleets to clear it fairly easily.

If you can get to the 1-5 boss fine, then I'm going to assume you've got the right composition. In that case, you just need to get your hands on some good ASW equip which shouldn't be too hard since it's cheap to craft it.

Rule #4 of how-to-LSC: If you have all the rare things from LSC you cannot do big LSC anymore.

Follow those rules and LSC will screw you over and literally throw rare shit at you.

Granted, 6 failures for Musashi but Yamato, Taihou. 2 Zuns, 2 Maruyu and Bismarck in 13 tries. Yahagi, two Mikuma, four Maruyu in the 20 min LSC after.

LSC is just stressful when you're binging. The only way to bear it is to make it a routine at either of the caps. The fun part of stockpiling is going into an event month and never once looking at the upper right hand corner. After penny pinching my way through Ironbottom I made sure that wouldn't happen again. I run 2-5 with this team and I can avoid Wo node half the time, and the other half is further divided between non-kai and kai.

It's arguably infrequent and I prefer to live with this than going through night battles.
