What are some of the best colleges for learning Japanese?

DMD mode: No skyhigh tuition, no stupid academic requirements like teacher letters of recommendation

I might just have to join the army at this rate.

Any college with a proper language department will have the courses you need.

Getting this out of the way now so I don't have to remember later.

>Signing up to a college course to learn Japanese, with fee too

Unless you are the kind of listless animal who needs to be whipped every 5 minutes to work up a semblance of motivation, who the fuck even needs that?

There are so many more interesting things you can be doing at the time.

So what you are learning a new language for if you deem all the time spent on learning it unimportant? Go spend your life getting drunk if you don't have the motivation, I'm pretty sure a master degree in beer pong will be more useful.

Enjoy spending thousands to leave after 2 / 3 years knowing probably sub 500 Kanji

Community College or learn it online.

CC is practically free.

If you join the Army(For US), be wary of high standards of enlistment. Also, you'll need to get into DLA and somehow luckily choose Japan as your language. I don't think they even allow you to choose; you can pick recommendations, but ultimately, they choose the language you have to learn.

I think 35 series is where all the linguists are, hanging out with intelligence and stuff.

I can't tell what's worse between having these threads happen every few hours or the seemingly always present handful of two or three retards trying to be internet helpful.

Are these shitty threads /jp/ approved now or something now that /lang/ is gone?

You'd think with people asking this over and over every fucking day people might actually check the archive about it for once

There's a few I think could stand to be gone, but they just keep hanging on. Just give it time, if it's going to be here anyway, they all expire sooner or later. And only twits give them much attention / really participate in them.

Just live in Japan, find a Gaijin Hunter Japanese guy. Talk to him everyday, give him gifts and ask him to teach you how to read.
