Good luck, I tried but no one will hire me so I am going to join the French legion.

Ah I remember the times I said I would get a job

I never found one and ultimately just wound up going to Community College again and just started humping the financial aid desk.

How do people like us get a job anyway? I can't imagine the average /jp/er being able to send out application after application until they finally stumble upon someone willing to consider hiring them.

I wasn't never able to get a job so in the meantime I focused on school. I'm graduating uni in two months and I'm thinking that degree is going to help out a lot.

can someone with zero work experience and zero references really get a job just if they have a degree?

>> No.12214702

>>12214698
it certainly helps to have the degree. Though it depends on how long ago you got it. A graduate looking for a job definitely looks better than someone who sat in their room for 10 years.

I read somewhere that long term NEETs are employed at about the same rate as felons. good look /jp/!

Good luck OP! I hope you get something that's tolerable!

I got a job through family. I didn't want it, but it's been nice to have my family off my back and some disposable income.

We don't use "memearrow" here newfriend.

Green text is only used for quoting.

Now kindly fuck back to /a/.

How much do they care that you sat on your ass for a bunch of years before starting on the degree? People change, so if someone managed to get off their ass and get a degree, that kinda proves that they're not worthless pieces of shit anymore. But I imagine it's kinda hard to make employers overlook that gap on your resume, even if it's before your degree.
