Wow. I've only seen 2 people who had /jp/ shit on their comps or displaying /jp/ shit. One was this fat white guy who always wore a naruto headband. His phone ring was Marisa stole the Precious thing. I went against my instincts and tried to talk to him and he got excited that I knew about touhou and tried to hang out with me. I ended up joining the Asian Buddhists club so I could get away from him. The second time was this Asian guy playing Touhou while waiting for a class to start. I talked with him and we actually got along pretty great. We both were ashamed of our interests so if we talked about it in public it would be somewhat quiet. Too bad he was 1 year ahead of me. So OP go for it. At least he is trying to suppress his power levels.

Anyway, I'm in Computer Science and one day while waiting for the class to start, I decided to play EoSD. Some guy looked at it and said something like "oh wow, you know Touhou?". I pretended I didn't and then told him "what? this? oh, no, a friend gave it to me"

For those of you who talk about /jp/ stuff in RL, how do end up pronouncing things? It seems pronouncing it the 'real' (Japanese) way would sound awkward.
I ask partially because I have to do a powerpoint presentation (with a partner) for an Asian/others culture class and one of my top 3 topics I picked was anime and I wonder how I should be pronouncing it (anime) and other stuff if I do happen to get that topic.

Same thing kinda happened to me. I was smoking outside when someone called me and my ringer was ファイナル少女マスター綺想スパーク by dBu. Someone overheard it and was like "OH SHIT THAT'S TOUHOU".
