that's cosmic invention. it's hard to find information about them since there's another japanese band with the same name, but from what i know they formed as a ymo cover band in high school. they're most known for the song "computer obaachan", which was written by ryuichi sakamoto. they released one album and one single, the former of which is in the pastebin i posted earlier. i would recommend it, it's a very whimsical and cute album.

after dinner - paradise of replica. really beautiful album that incorporates soundscapes and lots of wind instruments under haco's wonderful vocals. very "artsy", so you have been warned.

akiko yano - tadaima. my favorite akiko yano album. idiosyncratic artsy techno pop. akiko yano has a style all her own. worth it for the last track alone, that song is insane.

chiemi manabe - fushigi shoujo. a cult classic techno pop idol album. contributions from ymo, akiko yano, epo, and moonriders. very fun, very cute, very 80's.

doopees - doopee time. the musical equivalent of laughing gas. this is a super weird, but light-hearted space age pop concept album by composer yann tomita. guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

sugar babe - songs. the only album from the legendary band that launched the solo careers of taeko onuki and tatsuro yamashita. very melodic, simple, catchy, feel-good guitar pop rock songs.

mishio ogawa - 4 to 3. absolutely beautiful new-wave flavored art pop. the sort of music i want to listen to shortly before dying.

susan - complete susan. complete collection of songs by pop singer susan. known to collaborate with ymo and other 80's era producers. new-wave, very blondie-esque at times.

i would really recommend anything in the pastebin that has the little sauna symbol next to it, but these fit the thread the most.

Bumping this is very related to my interests
I love Japanese music from those eras. For awhile I thought I was alone since I had no one to share what I found until I stumbled upon a facebook group. Mostly Asian people reminiscing but at least they like what I like.
Speaking of YT being shitlords and take down channel there was a post named なつきけんじ that had tons and I mean tons of old songs on his channel. I had contacted him once and wanted to get some contact info from him but his channel was taken down weeks later. I wish I would have saved all those songs. Shit YT rips are better than nothing imo. But yeah I totally down for threads like this.

hey guys. just now i've witnessed the whole new world of ancient chiptunes, waiting for me to hear them.
i'm talking about PC-8801, PC-98x1 eras.
that's when Uncharted waters and Nobunaga games were hot stuff.

1. Get this, and extract it into a folder called "HOOT" .

HOOT command keys:

ESC - Move backwards through folders. (bottom of the screen)
0 - Restarts song
P - Stops song. (sort of)
1-8 - Mutes and unmutes channels.

First time posting on /jp/, dont kill me.
Recently I started to watch Spiderman with my little brother. Lo and behold, I stumbled upon this: a japanese live-action adaption from the 60's / 70's.

The opening theme is glorious and god-like.
Spiderman even possesses giant mechs.
Anyone of you watched this? Is it good?
Sucks that I cant find any subbed episodes online.
