I think it's kinda interesting to see Japanese reactions to various western games.
Seems they like Hearts of Iron series.

HOI has loads of bizarre crossovers with idolmaster, pretty cure, touhou and others.
Where you'll have Haruka arguing with Hitler over foreign policy or Reimu discussing naval strategy with Yamamoto.
Combine that with insane nationalistic ramblings that would make even /pol/ blush and you're in for quite a ride.

There seem to be two different types of people on niconico. Ones that only watch anime and listen to anime songs and ones that watch cartoons and listen to American (foreign) music. And they don't get along.

Also, you can find the sub vs. dub war on niconico too when it comes to cartoons and foreign movies.
