What do you like in /jp/ music?
I'm not trying to be condescending about it - I've been into L'arc~en~ciel and D'espairsRay lately, and I have anime openings on my MP3 (jibun wooo), but I also wonder what is it that you like.
For one, I don't understand much of the Japanese in the songs at all; I find most of the songs very energetic, but I don't really understand the words, merely the feeling they're trying to convey.

There's no such thing as "/jp/ music". What /jp/ talks about is an amalgam of largely unrelated scenes and styles, including Touhou and vocaloid music which can be in pretty much every existing genre.

In terms of Japanese music, most of the stuff I listen to these days is from anime or eroge, plus a few random Vocaloid songs that people have posted on /jp/, and some Touhou arranges from back when I was more into it. I just don't have the drive to spend time actively seeking out new music like I used to.

The only music I have on my hard drive is the TLMC converted to 320kbps MP3. Most of the vocals are shit, I just enjoy a small fraction of the instrumentals
