Is there a guide to comikets held over the years, listing all the official comiket numbers alongside their respective dates? Google fails me, and doujinshi.org doesn't seem to have such a guide.

Is there a batch torrent of cdrom rips of previous comiket catalogs? (I know the latest catalogs are officially available online now - not that I know how to access them...)

How do you search the comiket tag on ex for c1-9? 2 characters is too short for a search term.

is this a more general comiket thread?

I've never been to a comiket before. I'm in Japan this summer but I don't know if I want to hit it up. my shopping list only includes things like YKK and Aria and I struggle to take it easy in long queues and sprawling crowds.

But I fucking love doujin music and talking with small time musicians and listening to their live music. Is comiket the place to get that sort of shit or am I better off just going to a record store that stocks their local/doujin musics?

I hate the upload rush because I hate hype. It's only now that I'm leisurely looking through the C85 catalog for shit I might like, because either it's uploaded already or it's not going to be (ignoring the stuff that trickles in years later).

Uploads are kind of anemic lately. I really gotta get a job or some shit, or I'll never get my Kancolle non-H books. Wish PD uploaders would clearly tag shit エロ or 非エロ.

If you're bad in crowds Comiket will be hell. And for really popular circles with long lines you won't be able to chat much because people will be waiting. You don't have to line up with everyone at the start of the start of the day, but the "good stuff" is likely to be gone if you show up later.

I don't know shit about live music, though.
