Most people care about the secondary work. Music, drawings, fangames, doujinshi, even some animations made by fans. Honestly, make sure you get to know the series properly by playing the games first, then you go to secondary works. It'll probably be much more enjoyable this way.

Also, does anyone in /jp/ play Hopeless Masquerade anymore?

One of my favorites imo, although characters kept getting removed.

KanColle characters:
Samey anime girls with slutty sailor fukus and random ship parts.

At least MOST Touhou characters aren't ctrl+c/ctrl+v'd right from contemporary moeblob anime.

Only good things about 2hu are the cute pictures and lewd doujins.

Also, Yukari is the best.
