Would you read the story of the apathetic Komeiji sisters' life in a hospital after being diagnosed with eye cancer or some shit and then forgotten by their family, the cool plot twist at end is one of the sisters killing the other ( No gonna tell who and why so you keep reading )

Part of the cast is composed by doctress Reiuji who usually fucks up with the x-ray machine or something else and ends killing somebody in each chapter as comic relief and doctress Kaenbyou who does weird things at night in the corpse storage room, also "cirrhosis Hoshiguma-san" and in the mental ward Mizuhashi who stabbed a guy like 15 times in the fucking face for looking at other woman, would you?

I think it would be a good short story, but most people would prefer it to be perhaps a one-shot doujinshi or something.

People don't really care to much about Touhou fanfics it seems. But an opportunity to practice one's writing skills is always welcome.

It's basic economics and the free market.
There are near endless amounts of Touhou content out there and /jp/ has a limited attention span.

If you want people to read your stuff, you need to make it stand out and be appealing to us.
The story seems good so far, but any schmuck can be an idea guy and write up a fanfic.
I'd recommend making a sound novel or animatic if you don't feel up to drawing an entire comic out. At least these do the reading for us, as /jp/ is rather lazy too. We have so much content at our fingertips that laziness should be expected.

I don't know if I should reply seriously, but whatever, here goes.

Being a fan of something, I expect a fanwork of that something to be similar to it. This can be accomplished in several ways:
- By taking place in the setting I'm a fan of.
- By making use of the characters that I'm a fan of.
- By capturing the general feel of the work that I'm a fan of.
The ideal is, of course, all three, but that's not necessary. I can take Touhou in a different setting or situations if they retain their personalities. I can stand liberties in characterization and genre if the story takes place in the Gensokyo I love. I could even take original characters and settings if the story was something ZUN himself could write.

What I will not take, however, is an original story about original characters in a completely different setting that has Touhou names slapped on it because the writer (rightfully) didn't feel confident that anyone will be interested in his work otherwise. It's not a clever way to make your story read, it's just insulting.

So does Satori at least read minds in your story? Is she hated by everyone? And does Koishi acts at least sometimes subconsciously? What's making them Komeijis?

Actually I wouldn't read this story anyway. Why would I read story where one characters I love kills each other? That's even worse when just dying from cancer. If one of the sister die, I would still love her. But act of murder would force me to dislike her in this story.

To be honest I've read only one fanfic from THP. It was about Orin who stayed in a house of some guy and she was a complete tsundere.
It wasn't very good, but at least I've managed to read it in one go. On the other hand I have been putting CiLR (and CoLA) on hold probably for more than twenty times. Actually I don't even remember if I've finished reading CoLA. Probably not.

When I first found out about about THP I was very sceptical about all the fanfic stuff. I thought it cannot be any good. So I asked for a story which would represent an average quality of completed story on THP. And so I was linked to that Orin's fanfic.

I agree...that's why I don't particularly care for any of the stories where the scarlet sisters are shoehorned into the "LOL I'M EVIL BECUZ I'M A VAMPIER, NOW I'LL GO BURN DOWN THE HUMMENZ BECUZ I'M EVILZ BECUZ VAMPIAR" where there's no real justification or reasoning behind it. The story instantly becomes shit when you have a character become 1 or 2 dimensional villain and act grotesquely out of character for no reason, because then they're nothing more than just fodder for the protagonist to step on.

For me, part of the appeal of the Scarlet faction is that Remilia seems to enjoy PRETENDING to be the villain, like in her dialogue in 7.5 she pretends she's going to do "villainous things", but instead her real intention is to stop Suikas incident.

Not to be confused with that she's harmless/selfless or anything, but a lot of these things take things way too far in one or the other direction where she's either reduced to a shitty generic castlevania-tier villain or a moe blob.
