The first change is kind of neat I suppose, but regarding both of those: why?
Seems a little random.

>> No.11922160

Now we'll only have half as many idol threads.

>> No.11922166

More funposting and image dumps.

>> No.11922163

Fair enough, but why lower the timer for new threads? I like the long timer and it's not really a change you're going to feel, so why bother?

>> No.11922173

>>11922163
It should never have been raised in the first place

>> No.11922176

>>11922163
Its not like the timer hurt anybody except legitimate posters. Shitters will just evade and spam it again.

>>11922166
But this way the image dumpers will stay in their threads longer, and they'll reach the bump limit before they hit image limit so theres less of the same thread on the front page.

>> No.11922177

They probably feel the Jay is too slow, and alot more threads have been image heavy recently.

>> No.11922178

"Maybe if the thread time limit is lowered people will make more threads"

Not like I make threads anyway.

>> No.11922184

>>11922178
No point in making threads, because janyshit deletes them anyways.

>> No.11922189

Isn't /jp/ the only board that has such a timer for making threads anyway?

>> No.11922188

>>11922177
>>11922178
Even if the board moves slower than is used to be, I don't see how this is bad.

>> No.11922191

>>11922189
And I like it. It should be on a lot more boards.

>> No.11922200

>>11922163
I make a thread every week so I don't give a shit, but every now and then a poster actually has two interesting threads to make at once.

>> No.11922197

>>11922191
I agree. One hour is still long enough time to make you think not want to waste your new thread.

What was it before, 2 or 3 hours? Seems a bit too long considering we can't delete our own threads if we make a mistake.

We're moots favorite sacred board. So yes.

>> No.11922209

>>11922188
"Man, my (shitty) thread failed and I can't delete it to make a new one. I guess I can just wait the one hour and try to make my next (equally shitty) thread. One hour's not so bad, I can continue making threads until someone responds to one."

>> No.11922215

>>11922209
No, I mean why a slow board would be bad.

>> No.11922226

>>11922215
It's not. It's preferable to a fast one.

I pretty much never make threads anyway. The last thread i made was for Sachiko's birthday and the one before that for Miko's birthday last year.
