no I am a good jaypees who follows the rules if I wanted to discuss anime I would redirect myself over to /a/ anime and manga discussion. But since I do not watch anime or read manga I stay here on jaypee where I post about things of my various interested and abide by the rules the best I can.

I only download anime, never watch it, then replace with BD-rips of the same lying to myself that I'll watch all of it in some undetermined future.

I found that anime characters have very convenient lives. It's too unrealistic. As for games, there's nothing that's worth playing on the PC right now anyway (in my opinion).

I've been steadily losing interest in anime for the past two years, to be honest. It went from watching several shows simultaneously (few episodes a day) to not watching anything at all. Then there's the thing with anime being too perfect. Even if the MC is the biggest loser, somehow his life turns around, he finds friends, a love interest etc., I'm too jaded to keep projecting anymore.

I didn't mind such things at first. Or actually, I enjoyed them since it was something that I couldn't get in real life.
But the more I got older, the more it starts to feel awkward for the same reasons, plus the fact that the protagonists are always 12~18 so I cannot project anymore.
