Red velvet cake is not gay food. It's one of America's handful of unique contributions to the world of cakes. You don't really get any other sort of cake that's like red velvet.

Did you know the red color originally came from the reaction that the cocoa powder has with vinegar? It's obviously not as striking as the fake red velvet, but there is a definite red tinge to the cake.

If you've ever viewed an image (technically still considered a download) lewdly depicting what could even ambiguously be considered a minor, you've engaged in an illegal activity in pretty much every first world nation. The prevailing definition of obscenity and child pornography within almost any developed state's legislature would consider even a textual description as a legal equivalent of the corporeal, brutal counterpart. If you're reading this post, you've assuredly committed an indictable offense somewhere as you've also necessarily initiated transmission and received the constitutive information of this accompanying image.

Not if said work could be classified as obscene under the relevant diagnostic criteria (See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miller_test, and consider for a second how easily abused this system could be). Here is an excerpt from Canadian legislature on topic of child pornography as an existing and discernible thing;

"(a) a photographic, film, video or other visual representation, whether or not it was made by electronic or mechanical means,
(i) that shows a person who is or is depicted as being under the age of eighteen years and is engaged in or is depicted as engaged in explicit sexual activity, or
(ii) the dominant characteristic of which is the depiction, for a sexual purpose, of a sexual organ or the anal region of a person under the age of eighteen years;
(b) any written material, visual representation or audio recording that advocates or counsels sexual activity with a person under the age of eighteen years that would be an offence under this Act;
(c) any written material whose dominant characteristic is the description, for a sexual purpose, of sexual activity with a person under the age of eighteen years that would be an offence under this Act; or
(d) any audio recording that has as its dominant characteristic the description, presentation or representation, for a sexual purpose, of sexual activity with a person under the age of eighteen years that would be an offence under this Act."

Feel free to demonstrate how 85% of the textual and image content posted here somehow elludes this classification.

Canada's legislation is just a derivative of historically entwined and presently more politically influential nation's legislation. This shit in essence has been handed down from the UK, which also serves to influence much european legislation.
