The Yukkureimu in the buzz-saw deathtrap comic spontaneously regenerates after a while as well.

However, I viewed it more as a sort of aside to the audience that the "death" of yukkuris shouldn't be taken so seriously rather than it being a power they had.

Heck, in the olden days of yukkuri, I remember Reimu cleaves one in half and it just splits into two yukkuris on the spot.

Trying to define a mythos in which all the varied occurrences make sense is kind of a fun mental exercise, but I think at some point we just have to accept that it doesn't make sense and that we should take it easy.

The Reimu apologized and I let go of her sister. They were happy again and I set them both off to play somewhere else. My mother, still slightly annoyed deleted the resulting jumble of text and continued her work.

I took a closer look at it and it turns out the be the cable we use to connect to the internet. I told my dad that Reimu had ruined it, and he had to go out and buy another.

I pulled the Reimu and Marisa aside before my dad left for the store. "Remember what I had said before, Reimu?" I had asked her again.

"Yu? ta-take it easy?"

"Not quite." I answered her. I began to pinch the Marisa's Cheek tightly. "Yu! I gand chake id eajy!" it shouted. The Reimu was shocked that I was bullying her baby sister again. Once he plugged the cable back in, I explained that since we're now able to take it easy again, we'll let them take it easy. They both became happy again and danced away into the other room.

This happened many more times that I'd like to count. Why wouldn't it understand not to annoy us? We forgave them each time under the guise that it was because they didn't know not to do it, but one day...

I disagreed. Even if it took all night, I would have to punish them. So I took out a clothespin, and clipped it onto the Marisa's cheek.

"Yuuu! I cand chake id eajy!" It cried. And cried and cried all night. I had taken the Marisa to bed with me, and kept it tucked under my arm. The Reimu continued to object loudly, and my parents were bothered by the noise. I had to keep both of them in my room that night.

Oddly enough, I fell asleep rather quickly. I woke up at around 3:30 a.m. that night however by happy cheers. "erh... I can't take it easy." I said rubbing my eyes. The Idiots, I had school in the morning!

"Mawiza's free, Mawiza's free!" One of them shouted.

"Yaay! Take it Easy!" The other shouted.

"I thought I said you couldn't take it easy if we couldn't. Now you've woken me up. And you still haven't payed your punishment in full." I was ticked off at them now.

"Yu!" The Reimu said threateningly. "Stop bullying Marisa!"

"Fine? You don't want me to bully her anymore? Do you want it so that no one can bully her anymore?"

The Reimu began her silly dance again. Performing for my Mother and her little sister again. On Mom's laptop. Again.

"No!" I shouted. "Get off of there!"

"Get away!" Mom began to swat at the Yukkuri. She Struck it, and it got offended. "Yu!" It cried and stomped on the keyboard again. I pulled up the Reimu and picked up the Marisa again.

"For the last time, I've told you this so many times before!" I was furious that she would make such a mistake again. "If we can't take it easy, you can't take it easy!"

"Son, I think you should let those things go..." Mom suggested in an oddly calm manor.

"Mom, I know it made the same mistake but-"

I was cut off by her reasoning. "The little ball of pus just deleted everything I had writen up!" She clicked on the icon. "Everything I wrote up this evening is gone!"

I sighed and looked down at the Yukkuri. The Reimu knew something was going to happen. She must have because she was standing in front of her sister. I reached behind her and picked her up.

I kept pulling it's cheeks apart. I let go of them. They were distended completely. The marisa was now crying her eyes out. I shuffled my hands closer to the middle of her face, and pulled again.

"ZTOOOOOB ID!" they both cried, the Marisa more than the Reimu.

I kept pulling and pull until finally the Marisa was completely ripped down the center. Her bean paste spread out on the bed. I scooped it up with my hands and swallowed it down. It was rather tasty.

"Ztop eadding mwariza! Leeb mwariza alone!" The Reimu was sobbing. "Gib back Mwariza!"

"Oh you want her back then? Alright!" I picked up both pieces of skin, and stuffed it violently into the Reimu's mouth. "Have as much as you can!" I shoved every remaining inch of the marisa into it's mouth, and squashed her head lightly, forcing her to chew it up.

"Nwoooo! Mwariza! Reibu's bwaby zizder! Whaa!"

Somehow, despite it's crying, I managed to fall back asleep. It was rather delicious, wasn't it?

"Well, Reimu woke me up trying to get me to stop bullying Marisa. So then I asked if it wanted me to teach it how to prevent anyone from bullying Marisa again. I told her that by eating her sister, no one could bully her again."

My parents looked at each other confused. "So then, she ate her sister?"

I kind of hesitated to answer. "...yeah, but I had to force her." I waited a bit for their answer. "I had some, too, and it was really sweet. And kind of tangy."

My parents continued to contemplate what exactly went on last night. The Reimu was sitting on the table, sobbing. "virzt mommie begums a monsser, den reibu eads mawiza... whyyyy?"

That night when I came home from school, he had bean paste for dinner. It was really sweet.
