That's actually what I mean, I just didn't think /jp/ wants a story of my life or some crap.
I am one, but only on things I decide are worthwhile, longterm endeavors that matter to me. Education and grades, staining some new wood furniture that cost a lot (or really anything that costs me money), keeping my credit history clean, etc. I don't want to be serious about art because I'm afraid, knowing me, I would become too perfectionist about it.

Speaking as an artist, I find that the development of my own skills is one of the most important parts. If I were to be suddenly given incredibly good skill, I'd feel bad that I hadn't earned it myself, and I'd end up letting that skill go to waste.
