This is obviously their attempt to show the viewer that Mattoi is strong/admirable/etc. because of who she is and not that she has Senketsu. Whether it's permanent or not I dunno.

I think there are three possibilities for what will happen with Mattoi's wardrobe situation.

1) The nudists will teach her how to fight without Senketsu, then she'll fight all of the students whose uniforms were imbued with Senketsu's fibers. She will get all of the fibers back and have the nudists re-sew him somehow, or Satsuki will do it for her. Or he'll reassemble himself once the parts are together, like when his shoulder was cut off in her fight against the guy who turned into a ninja turtle.

2) Senketsu will really be dead, forever, and she'll just fight without him from now on.

#1 is more likely.

I'm pretty sure this same arc Mattoi is going through (showing the audience she's strong without the environmental factors which have made her strong so far) will eventually happen to Satsuki as well, where she'll get disowned by her mother and have to fight some antagonist (possibly also her mother) and she'll probably team up with Mattoi when that happens.
