/a/ is literally shit, you literally can't enter a thread of an anime with a manga or light novel adaptation that you get instantly spoiled even if the anime is still airing.

This is bullshit, in my 5 years of /jp/ I have never once had a visual novel spoiled, never.
It would be really easy to spoil critical parts of 50 hour long visual novel but never once has /jp/ done it to me.

Yes, I have just been spoiled.
Yes, I shouldn't have gone to /a/.

>> No.11791897

The same applies to /tv/ and /lit/.

Fucking asshole crossies, I literally got the killer in a whodunit novel I was half-way through minutes ago.
Spoiled TWICE in a single day. Fuck everything.

Being on /a/? There's your problem.

Yeah, well they seem to be busy using the spoiler tags for other purposes.

I know that feel.
/tv/ spoiled the killer in twin peaks for me. I was casually lurking the board when an asshole created a thread with the phrase "X IS THE KILLER IN TWIN PEAKS"

>I literally got the killer in a whodunit novel

This guy is crazy, he's hallucinating killers and attempting to capture them.

Some fucker on /jp/ intentionally spoiled the higurashi novel for me because I said I was playing it.

It's been probably a year and I still can't forget. I still never finished higurashi.

The anime was translated years ago, so you would already know what happened before the VN was ever translated if you don't speak Japanese.

I get spoiled stuff all the time but I always forget it because my memory is shit.

Sometimes I would play a game I already finished and be surprised at the ending because I forgot it.

Back in 2009 I got Sharin no Kuni's Your sister is behind you the entire time twist spoiled to me, but didn't understand it/forgot it, then last year when I finally got to the twist, I was very surprised of course, but also remembered the guy spoiling it to me and thought "So that's what he meant, huh."

Last year around the time when I finally decided I'd get around to reading Planterian I was spoiled by a twenty-spoilers-in-one copypastas that was posted in 2009.

Fucking archives, man.

It's not like Planetarian has a twist ending or anything. It's just a straightforward tearjerker.

I think I've read the very same spoilers copypasta you are talking about, and what a coincidence, I've read it while making a search for Planetarian threads in the archive.

I deal with spoilers by just avoiding thinking about them, then as soon as I notice, I've forgetten what they were about (though I have yet to successfully forget a spoiler like "X dies" or "X is the killer")

Spoilers are funny. I remember how on ED if you went to the page of any anime or manga you would get spoiled right away because of the caps right at the top of the page. That's really funny. Polite sage. I'm out for now though, peace.

Oh, I meant any anime or video game, not manga. Sorry 'bout that. Alright, peace.

dfw you fapping to pretty hot doujin of some snk babes and then the last page is a spoiler,

tl;dr getting spoiled isn't that big of a deal.
you knowing MC-kun's waifu dies at the end of your 9000 pages visual novel won't matter because narrative devices are not always clearly conveyed by spoilers and the finest points of a story are not always in the TWEEEEST or the ending, just don't anticipate the spoiled element coming up, or try to predict when it will happen. That way your experience will be much better.
