You think so? I admit that my VN power level is pretty low, but out of what I've heard Kira Kira is my favorite. Then again, I play guitar as a hobby and mostly play rock/blues, so I'm biased.

Classical is great too, of course, which made pic related awesome. Are there any VNs with a really good jazzy soundtrack? There are a few nice ones in Demonbane but I've yet to encounter a VN that's obviously jazz inspired.

I really, really liked the few BGMs of the first edition's VN segment. The fight songs were really good, too. I like some of them from the first version even more than the remixed ones.

Kira Kira BGM were nice, and while the insert songs were okay, I remember I really liked 君の元へ.

A recent would be Totono. While the VN itself was average, I remember the piano BGM at the start blew my mind, and the insert song from Ito Kanako and the ED song by Swinging Popsicle too.

I'm probably going to read through all of the routes depending on how I feel about the characters after some more time. I hope it doesn't end up like Deardrops where I only read 1 route and gave up because I couldn't deal with how shitty the game was.

Good taste. My favorite KK song is "Lead to Your Dream," but "Noisy Sweet Home" is a solid contender for DD. I'm also particularly partial to that Stairway to Heaven remix they threw in the OST.

I really like some of the stuff that I think is (pretty much) in the public domain and just keeps getting recirculated through short doujin VNs.

Example is this track Dreamy Map by KeNji. I don't know how many times I've heard this track come up in those sort of VNs, but I know it's a fucking lot and the it's really pretty.
