Yeah, I'm pretty sure Bill Hicks, Francis Crick, Kary Mullis, Eric Clapton, Richard Feynman, Bill Gates and Steve Jobs were all dumbasses.

That, or maybe you never got to appreciate the essence of psychedelia and are insulting and generalizing other people for your own deficiencies, or are plainly lying in that you've tried and enjoyed a good dose of a psychedelic drug in your life. I've had the opportunities to use LSD or research chemicals on many occasions. I've never done them though because I already know the kind of ridiculous shit they do to your mind. I think they're dumb drugs.

You enjoy Opiates. You enjoy Amphetamines. You enjoy Alcohol. You enjoy Cannabis.

Psychedelics? You're a fucking nut. I don't care if X celebrity used it and endorses it. Celebrities and the glamorization of it is a very large part of the reason people even use it, or enjoy it, I think. (Using something with pre-conceived notions like that can greatly change your opinion and skew your actual thoughts on it.)

If they weren't glamorized in the 60s, I don't think they would have been, and continued to be, glamorized in the media and by people today. If it was just some random chemical, you didn't really know what it was, weren't effected by media/peers perception of it, you would probably fucking hate that drug if you tried it.

I remember hearing something about them giving LSD to heroin addicts in the 50s. They all fucking hated it.

i've actually asked a psychiatrist for some before. I was brutally honest and said "we're both adults, so I'll be straight with you. I need some drugs for my exams." thinking he would give me sympathy but he didn't take it well.

i also asked around in parks, malls and metro stations ("hey, got drugs?" "where can I buy drugs?" "got LSD?" and such) and everyone told me to fuck off. the security guard said i could be charged with soliciting if I ever came back

so i've concluded that drugs aren't as common as normalfags want us to believe. it's just hollywood fucking with us

Well, with so little options... You've mentioned an aversion to cough syrup, but I can tell you that DXM is a hell of a hallucinogenic~ Anon's right, make sure the only active ingredient is dextromethorphan, no acetaminophen or guaifenesin (too much of this stuff will fuck up your liver / make you puke your guts up.), and get comfortable. It's quite the trip for quite the time period at the correct amounts, so make sure you won't be busy for the next day.
