This isn't the case. The law you're talking about was deemed unconstitutional by the supreme court. Even if it hadn't been, no cop is going to arrest you if they somehow see you have some loli porn. Policemen and customs agents are allowed to use discretion and most don't know the law all that well anyway, so they wouldn't be aware of some obscure law forbidding obscene renderings of children.

The purpose of the law, by the way, was to close a loophole where people could trace, render or otherwise virtualize child porn in a lifelike manner, making it visually very similar to the actual thing but eluding the anti-child-porn laws since it was then technically a drawing/animation. But even still it isn't constitutional according to the supreme court so don't worry about it.

Right, but that's an artificial fun injection. The actual combat itself isn't fun, getting the item is. You could do something similar, and scale it to the effort required, for killing a creature with a handful of satisfying, high-impact attacks (like having such creatures drop, rarely, components of a large item - instead of the item itself.) This would let players enjoy the combat and enjoy the item.

People incorrectly equate this kind of 'hit creature ten times instead of ten trillion times' with easiness, but it's not the case. You can also make the player fragile. Combat can be exciting and each hit can feel truly devastating instead of 'whoops, took 0.5% of my health bar in damage' or 'nice, I did 0.02% of the boss's life.'

I love monster hunter as much as the next person and bought a Japanese 3DS almost purely for MH4, but MMORPGs have a certain charm about them, particularly the open world, obviously. If there was an open world game with MH combat it would be amazing, but I can't see it happening any time soon. MHOnline doesn't count because it isn't open world.

Its funny. I knew about B&S before TERA but when a friend showed me TERA I was sold and got it for the Elin. The combat was pretty good too. It was exciting fighting BAMs. It reminded me a lot of how strong monsters were in FFXI. The game was very enjoyable but the company set up a cash shop a month after release. Looking back its obvious it was their intention to go F2P in the beginning. I still haven't picked it up again despite having the founder's account.

I wonder how B&S is. Is it like TERA? The anthropomorphic qualities on the lolis seem to be a bit excessive but they're still cute.
