It's too late to become good at Melty unless you have an offline scene.

The game is just too dead.

Try "BBCP" instead. I used to only play Melty Blood, but it is amazing how nice it feels to go online and have multiple 60 person lobbies waiting for you, and better netcode as well.

I almost never find anyone to join my match here, and when I do they aren't on east coast. The IRC and steam group have both turned to circlejerks who won't even play people who aren't regulars (at least, the east coast people won't)
