earlier i was perusing various tumblr blogs and seeing so many attractive, young girls ponder how easier life is as a man. and writing about how difficult their lives are due to their gender, even though i've gone through all the same things as them tenfold (except for the burden of having people tell me how nice i look constantly), which made me feel in comparison to a starving child in africa. it leaves me wondering incessantly what my life would have been like if i were born a girl. i'm not sure if i'd make real life friends easier, but i know i would never have been bullied as extensively, if at all. i'd yet to experience true hardship, so i would still be blogging and moaning, albeit much more than i already am doing. i would also be into misandry. it seems as though the biggest difference would be that i would now like shitty anime and music and be susceptible to vapid, mean boys. but what a small price to pay.

If there's one thing Tumblr has made me aware of, it's that pretty girls do have it hard too. All my life I've wished I could be a handsome guy and blamed a lot of my problems on my appearance, so I always felt a lot of attractive women were ungrateful. Particularly those who complain about being attractive, or are too modest to accept how attractive they are.
Then as I read all these silly feminist posts, I did start to realize that it must be a nuisance at times. For one thing, if you've looked that way your entire life, then that's just how things are "by default". If you're naturally good-looking, it's going to be pretty damn hard to live up to the standards set by yourself and others. That girl can wear a bit of foundation and mascara and go from a 4/10 to a 7/10 just like that, whereas you can barely go up one point no matter how hard you try.
I think this applies to men too but they complain about it less, which is why they never bugged me as much as women who never shut up about it, but I can get the imbalance. It might sound great having guys ogle and holler at you, but I'm sure it gets old pretty fast. And it's not like they care about you as a person, they just see you as a sexually-attractive piece of meat. That can't be good for self-esteem.
On that note I also hate women who act like lecherous men. Stop it. You're making a conscious effort to look like a horrible person when you're all, "Wow, look at that hottie~!" as though he's just an object too. This door swings both ways, and what you're doing is just as offensive, not progressive.

So tl;dr: I think it's like being rich. Rich people stop being happy and often strive to be richer. So you could be a pretty girl, but when you've been a pretty girl long enough, all the good stuff dies down, and all the bad stuff stays bad.
