You only have to sign up to view R-18 images. Boorus are nice to have for when Pixiv or the artists delete their works for whatever reason but using them instead of the source is kind of like using 9gag instead of 4chan because 9gag took all the "funny" memes and aggregated them for easier access. In the end you only see what various anime retards in the booru communities thought you should see.

I do that too, only I don't follow everyone who's picture I save. I just use saucenao and then a pixiv userscript that saves the image with the right filename.

When I run into pictures that are only available on Seiga or tinami it annoys the fuck out of me.
