A winter's day
In a deep and dark December;
I am alone,
Gazing from my window to the streets below
On a freshly fallen silent shroud of snow.
I am a rock,
I am an island.

I've built walls,
A fortress deep and mighty,
That none may penetrate.
I have no need of friendship; friendship causes pain.
It's laughter and it's loving I disdain.
I am a rock,
I am an island.

Don't talk of love,
But I've heard the words before;
It's sleeping in my memory.
I won't disturb the slumber of feelings that have died.
If I never loved I never would have cried.
I am a rock,
I am an island.

I have my books
And my poetry to protect me;
I am shielded in my armor,
Hiding in my room, safe within my womb.
I touch no one and no one touches me.
I am a rock,
I am an island.

And a rock feels no pain;
And an island never cries.

Why do most hikikomori and NEET songs seem to be so depressing and melancholy?

I've lived inside for almost 7 years now and if I had to sum up my experience with a song then it would have to be something fast-paced and cheerful. Every day is exciting and fun as a hikikomori. You get to wake up, take the happy pills, and then your mind goes real fast and you can spend the whole day having fun at the computer or dancing around the room.

This should play as soon as a hikikomori wakes up in the morning (or evening, depending on your sleep schedule)

The hero awakens. A hikikomori's forthcoming.

It's obviously a photoshoot to lure neets and hiki's into buy the magazine so they can fap to the illusion of the woman being relatable to them. She's a model.

When I see girl fuyoshi my heart really breaks. It just breaks.

Don't you have a family doctor that you can go to? I still go to the same doctor that delivered me when I was born, so I feel relatively comfortable at his doctor office. He has been giving me happy pills for the last 7 years. We only meet once a month for a new prescription refill, but I would list him as my best friend aside from /jp/ and my mother.

Why did they make you feel depressed? I see mine as my friends. They're a bottle filled with 60 orange friends and I love each and every one of them for being kind to me and helping me to love life.

Not all NEET/hikki have parents or autismbucks to leech off of, so existence is hell.

Basically riding out unemployment/welfare to barely meet rent and then trying to scrape together enough money for internet (more important than food), and then ramen.

If you were rolling in dosh and funpills, then yeah, it'd be awesome.

I haven't watched the video I posted in a long time, but I think the maid is having a shop or restaurant, so it was free promotion for her. And the two girls with doujishi were just random pervs.

>i had to resort to anti depressants

What kind of anti depressant were you taking? Maybe it was the bad kind, like the SSRIs.

My doctor believes that we got it right back in the 1940s and that stimulants are the best treatment for depression. The main appeal of the SSRIs is that you can't abuse them and get high off of them, but my doctor told me that if a drug used for treating depression doesn't have the potential to be abused then it probably doesn't work very well and then he joked about how there's a reason why drug dealers aren't selling Zoloft.

There's a few different kinds. Basically anti-depressants, which either make you feel nothin' at all (so that you're not sad anymore), or ones that make you feel happy (more like sleepy/feels good man) but totally out of it; like kinda in a dream.

They fuck up your sense of perception either way though and coming off of them is a bitch.
