after the new games, going back to the previous shooters is painful. the controls are clunky and unresponsive, the graphics are flat and boring, and the music (although still 10x better than most game OSTs) is archaic and simple. really, the only possible reason you could come up with for thinking the previous games are superior to the latest installments is nostalgia. your bias for the games you're more familiar with with is clouding your judgement.
