I feel like Japan loves gay people... as long as they're fictional (or popular TV personalities, apparently). It's strange, because there's no religious doctrine or anything against homosexuality there. It just goes against "tradition," which is why people don't like it. Asking to sticky original content threads is stupid. The people providing original content or creating projects should be in charge of keeping their threads fresh by posting updates. This coupled with /om/ threads having a bigger lifespan should allow anyone to keep a thread about their project alive without mod intervention. Imagine if KS devs demanded an /a/jp/ sticky.

There's no trip dick to suck. The trips that do exist, while obnoxious solely by the fact they are trips, don't go out of line with their posting. /ota/ is small enough a place that the habit of ignoring posts you don't like still carries influence. Also there are enough anonymous posters to allow overlooking a few bad apples.

There's no reason to think all this /ota/ hatred isn't coming from the usual shitposting suspect (I noticed your spamming of the fighting games thread with negative replies, by the way). This is what I think as an anonymous regular /jp/, /ghost/ and /ota/ poster.
