I realized that I might have a problem when I went to Akihabara and was immediately critical of everything I saw. Usually, when someone goes to a foreign country, they're struck with novelty and wonder, but I spent my time internally laughing at grown men playing 3DS on the streets and remarking about how japanese food tastes worse in japan than it does in the US.

Has /jp/ turned me into such an elitist snob that I can't enjoy the one place in this world that might interest me?
