Just started reading this. I'm wondering if there will be some sort of interesting conflict eventually. I was really disappointed by Kanojo to Ore to Koibito in that department. I know that wasn't the point of the game, but the main heroine was such a doormat it wasn't even funny.
Also, the teacher is fucking hot.

I just finished rereading Higurashi and damn, I I really shouldn't have. I had all good memories about it from years ago and thought I could relive the experience. I remembered it to be much more perfect than it actually is.

You can't really go wrong with Falcom in my opinion. I like Ys series more, but Kiseki is okay. I just don't like how they moved away from PC to branch games exclusive to consoles and handhelds.

My VN's randomly crash when I'm running it. Sometimes it would show an error message saying "tvp (kirikiri) 2 core scripting platform for win32 has stopped working", sometimes it just says "E stack Overflow", or it would just crash completely without an error message. I used to be able to run them normally before, but now I can't.

Any idea on what's causing this?

Sorry for the late answer, I did read the first chapter (out of 3) and a bit of the second.
Well I've been waiting to complete the whole thing before judging it and honestly it's been quite a while since I did it but I guess I can write a few things about it.

Rittenorder is a low fantasy type story with a dual protagonist, low fantasy doujin games are a dim of a douzen but Rittenorder manages to do it better than most since the writer obviously has everything planned out.
The writing is clear and well paced out, the dialogues don't feel like they last forever and the narration brings a good amount of characterization to both protagonists without feeling rehashed, over-narrated or simply too "try-hard".
Basically in term of writing it's quite a bit better than your average doujin game though it's not really high grade either.

The story, without spoiling too much, is about a woman called Crystal who is looking for an artifact and a mute knight called Ren who is using it, there is a good mix of low fantasy stuff, politic, chuuni like battles with special abilities and war situations so it doesn't get boring either.

Anyways it's a nice 8/10 so far, I should go back to it once I get time.

Started it a few weeks ago and finished Sui's route but dropped the game since the route was meh except for the lewd ero. It was also very short. It pretty much ended when I thought it would start. Strange. Anyway, now I'm reading the imouto route and fuck, it really shows how incest warps the involved people. I hope it keeps going that way and won't end in a saccharin end out of fucking nowhere.

Art and music are pretty much top notch. Sasuga minori. I just hope they stay lewd.

Just finished 願いの欠片と白銀の契約者. It started of really strong, simmerd down and then picked it up again towards the ending. Not sure if kamige or not, but definitely worth reading.

The meta is well done in some way6s but it falls apart later.

Well, sorry my opinion is terrible, but I just felt let down by Terra. Maybe I was expecting too much, I don't know. But whereas in Saihate no Ima reading through the walls of text was rewarding, Terra just left me feeling disappointed in the end.

I'm not saying the rest of the game was "stronger", because it obviously had major issues, but I was at least able to turn my brain off and enjoy the humor in the common route, and I thought Kotori's route was enjoyable and Akane's was okay. It's just that Terra was where everything was supposed to come together and I didn't care for the way Romeo did it.

This is turning out to be very good. The plot seems to create two questions for each one it answers, but in a good way. Promia is incredibly adorable, Elegano is the most amusingly benevolent troll I've ever seen, and pic related.

Not looking forward to The Doji and The Warrior's routes, but whatever.

I won't spoil the entire route but Ryou and Hiro gets captured by Mito and Hiro fights him rather well due him being weaker and slower than Saeko, they both use cheap ass tactics during the fight Hiro uses wrestling and Kendo abilities he learned from the 10 years that he has been beat up by Saeko/Yoiko, in the end he Throws a whiskey bottle at Mito and the whiskey gets in his eyes and then Hiro goes alpha on him, as a side note the whiskey was 56 degrees, Hiro beats Mito.

Yoiko and Azuna's route continues from the point where all of the other route start at, Hiro breaking up with Tsujidou, in regards to Azusa and Renna's routes they both follow the same starting point except Azusa picks up Hiro before Renna does, her route Splits into 2, one where you scold her for the money stealing and then Renna finds out or the one where you don't scold her and well that would ruin it if i said what happens. as a side note after you finish Black hair Tsujidou route replay Azusa's route for a extra H-scene, Tbh they put alot more work into Azusa's route then Yoiko's it kinda stands out alot. In short play Renna's route to get an idea of what Azusa is doing then play Azusa's route, Yoiko isn't connected to the other routes at all so you're ok there, Any other questions?

Pretty sure VLC can encode H264 screen capturing with audio. There's also several dshow filters to use directly with ffmpeg, like UScreenCapture.
On linux you can just use ffmpeg itself to capture directly from X, but I doubt that's helpful to you.

Just finished Gahktun. It was the best "What a" that I played, but still, like all the others felt like it was missing something towards the end which made it not really touching/emotional.
Maybe it's the fact that the setting is better than the story, I don't know.
Surely it had the most realistic representation of college friendship that I ever saw in an eroge. It really surprised me and reminded me of the time when I used to have friends too...
