There's these concepts called "Primary" and "Secondary". Follow me through, because it's one hell of a ride.

A Primary is a person having played and only played the Touhou games. They are intrinsically pure. It's the purity to what every Touhou fan should tend to.

Unfortunately, the game doesn't give enough information to satiate the /jp/ hunger about the Touhous. Then they read other sources, like the wiki or the official manga. They are no longer pure, they are no longer a Primary, they are what we call a Secondary.

This paradox defines /jp/. Every /jp/ wants to be pure, to be Primary. But every /jp/ is called by the impure and finish to be a Secondary if they weren't one to begin with.

The cognitive dissonance explains probably why they are so hateful for Secondaries.

yea, the in-game dialogue is very non-sequiter at times, but it helps establish different characters personalities. The official mangas/written works are where you really get into it though. Only the main characters really get a real personality hashed out in the games.

I don't know if Raiko's crew counts as a family, but a week or so ago I had this nightmare where she appeared and said that I wasn't treating my tools well and that I had to atone for my sins. Then she had Benben and Yatsuhashi restrain me and stuff me into this huge tuba, where I was to live for 10 years or something. Seiga was also there, and she was really interested in buying my corpse once they managed to get my soul into the thing.

I later had another dream where I was laying on Raiko's lap and she had one of her drumsticks up a certain hole that I certainly didn't want any drumsticks in, and it felt surprisingly pleasant.

So yeah, I guess I'm conscripted to this Operation Tsukumogami Liberation business, so I better get used to not having a home and sleeping in magical storms. Also, being a tuba apparently makes you constantly and terribly nauseous, wouldn't recommend to anybody.

Create a tower filled with monsters. The heroines must battle their way to the top of the tower by clearing a hundred floors, and then face me along with my newly found magical power.
I'm betting my appearance in a RPG fangame, I don't want my efforts to be thwarted by someone flying to the top floor right away.

Fortunately I am good at cooking.
So I have a marketable skill even in Gensokyo.
I would move in with whichever family could provide me with the Western ingredients I needed to cook.
I think the first thing I would introduce is doughnuts. Their cheap to make and would be exotic to them.
Then I would introduce various chocolate pastries and confections. This would require though someone who could bring baking chocolate and cocoa from the outside.
