I first watched Amane's bad end and I half-expected even the good end to end on a sad note but I was pleasantly surprised.

Quite possibly JB was trying to from day one, but Yuuji took Makina and ran. At one point Otsuka orders to take her alive as a "valuable card" rather than kill her like requested, Ichigaya had different goals than the Irisu... Personnally, I recognized her from the start. Akane had several tsundere lines in the games you mentioned, and I don't think she sounds too different in Grisia.
Even easier to recognize were Makina (Rin from LB), Chizuru (most people here would know her for Komari but she sounds EXACTLY like Akane in DCII), and Amane (Sumika). However I didn't recognize Yumiko (Kurugaya) at first, even though it becomes obvious after a while.
Ai Shimizu (Sachi's VA) is, huh... Not hating on her, but despite her being quite famous and having done a shit ton of roles, I find her to be one of the most unremarkable seiyuus ever.

There's actually a lot of hints towards the real issues with the girls and brief glances at more depth to them then they let on at first.

The common route might get dull, but it at least makes you want to keep playing just because you'll be thinking "Okay, what's this bitch's problem" after a while. So I don't suggest you skip it.
