I went to little Tokyo today /jp/, and I was in for a surprise. I saw overweight cosplayers of taokaka and tons of high school kids with dyed anime hair. What the fuck happened to being a socially acceptable power-level hiding rational human being? Also there was a lewd loli book store.

Now that it's mainstream you can do whatever you want since there are others around to accept you. You may even be better off for it.

This is America, the land of freedom. You can go wherever you like, wearing whatever you like, and do whatever you want, and everybody will do the best to ignore you, because they have better things to give a shit about.

If you're in a city, anyway. Rural areas are different but fuck that nobody puts a Little Tokyo in a rural area.

They had everything, and they had fig as of every time too. They had non loli stuff, but tomoke and all the others were put in the front to be displayed when people walked in. It was in a mall too.

Man, over here I really sympathized with the Japanese who had to put up with these people. The best thing to happen to little Tokyo was the yakuza, because they kicked all the hobos out and made the place desirable to live, so all the NEETS and weebs from the giant high school in downtown hang out there. Every time I visit there are more and more.

You can find them back at /a/, please refrain from such terminology.

I've been to Little Tokyo, which store was the loli bookstore? The only place I remember is Jungle.

I thought "Little Tokyo" was a generic name for a Japantown.

Little Tokyo is the official historic district in Los Angeles. Most other Japantowns are unofficially called Little Tokyo I believe.

I see. It must have opened recently as I haven't been there in a year or so. How are the prices? I typically stick to BookOff, but I'm game for loli figures.

A damn shame, but they gotta eat too. I guess I'll make a trip there sometime just to check it out regardless. It's quite a nice area.
