[SPOILER] No.11228257[SPOILER]  [Reply] [Original]

It's a long shot but i'm assuming there is somebody here who's into it.

can you drink sake out of a coffee cup? does it matter? all my other cups are broken.

>> No.11228266

Drink it out of the bottle and come back once you're pissed.

>> No.11228260

drink it out of a cereal bowl and pretend you're Yuugi

>> No.11228261

I honestly doubt most people care, just like most people don't care about how steaks should be cooked, or how to properly brew coffee or tea.

come to think of it, I think i've even seen that happen before.

historically, why use a bowl to drink though?

>> No.11228278

You can drink it directly from my mouth. I'll quench your thirst.

Oh yeah baby drink that sake. I've got a faucet full of sake in my pants. *whips out faucet*

what does sake taste like

depends what brand you get and how polished the rice is. a big complain lately is that all the high polished premium sake brands taste the same though.

oh and to actually answer your question, i don't know there's nothing similiar to it.

I had it once, it was slightly sweet with low alcohol content. I thought it was enjoyable

Stop pussyfooting around, OP. Drink your sake straight from the bottle like a real alcoholic.

Alcohol evaporates at room temperature and has a strong smell. Some glasses are designed to focus it and keep it concentrated like wine glasses. Some are broader like sake dishes. Some stuff is so vile you drink it out of the bottle like vodka.

>> No.11228728

I bought a bottle once, didn't care for it much. The bottle looked like the one in OP.

I bought that same bottle and i regret drinking crappy sake. I would suggest drinking it hot. I would suggest drinking something else with it. because you wont get drunk drinking that all night.i also drank it out of a dipping sauce cup.
felt like yuugi.

>> No.11229031

I made the mistake of drinking warm sake once. I had to cool it down before I could drink it and it still tasted like piss.

Also, that particular sake is American.

>> No.11229248

I use whatever's around, meaning smaller mugs. It's more fun to drink traditionally, but it's not like you'll miss out if you don't.

I don't know if you're asking seriously or not, but the typical shape of a teacup is really meant to hold black and darker teas because its shape lends itself towards cooling down the liquid inside, which for its intended use would be tea at or near boiling temperature.

spend less than 5 bucks per cup and wait one day OP:
