Guys, I'm going try Clannad, but I have a question. What would be best, to watch the anime or play the VN? I want maximum feels.
I've just finished the Little Busters VN and I really liked it, so I don't think the sheer length of the VN will be much of a problem. Though I've heard it starts really slow and takes a while to become good, is that true?

Play the VN. Stop using the word "feel", at all. If you're patient, you'll have fun.

What's wrong with the word feel?

There's way more content in the VN for sure. Anime only has the benefit (not even really a benefit, just a difference) of having arcs kinda meshed together to form a coherent overall story.

I watched the anime, and it was still really good. Ive known VN's to be much better compared to anime adaptions. (Chaos;Head).
So either one would be a good choice, though reading the VN would be my recommendation.

Woah are you implying that gathering orbs of light to gain access to and change a certain time line isn't a coherent story?

Anyway, yeah play the VN and stop talking about feels. Ths visual novel is a great experience and it's worth it to see all the work and effort which went into it.

Read the VN first, then watch the anime. I felt that Misae's route and the Afterstory were superior in the anime, but most character routes were more enjoyable in the visual novel.

VN. Once you get past the creepy insect eyes maybe you'll like it.

It's still really overrated but good

In my opinion the anime is better, the VN is good, but eventually all the text gets boring, and since you have to complete every ending, you have to know exactly which choices to make.

(Not that the VN isn't worth it, but I personally preferred the anime)

>> No.11223723

Also, by "the text gets boring" I mean the constant, over descriptive text.

But,in all honesty, do both, OP, I think it'll be good either way.

VN will take you about 100 hours to finish and I recommend you google the "100-hour guide", but the VN is better than the anime as I think it really made you feel the feels, in a very feely way.
