They had something good going with the AT and the MK series but they decided to throw all of it out the window and on top of it they brought back the annoying time limit which was only present in the oldest atelier games. Totori and Meruru are similar in mechanics, Totori has a better story and Meruru has better gameplay. Rorona is pretty different in mechanics so it might be difficult to play. It's also the reason they didn't make a Rorona+ version for the Vita, if they ever re-release that game, they want to give it a bigger overhaul.
