Well, I believe there was a philosophical debate on this in the second thread, and someone touched on it in the third thread where Yukkuri are to Touhous like overused Memes are to Respectable Anons

It was just a series Yukkuri threads... that had some pictures and discussion about the validity of torturing them.

a non-canon remirya. Remiryas are still too weak (and retarded) to be a threat to a human. They're just stronger than other yukkuris. I think the only yukkuri that can be a thread to a human is Iku types, but that's just going by the wiki cause I have not once seen them mentioned.

A certain type of Yukkuri species are designed to survive in the harshest environments by spawning 2 types of Yukkuri. When they give birth, a lot of them are born herbivore, but a select few are born as fast-growing carnivores.

The herbivore types flourish in an enviroment where there is plenty to feast on.

However, when the community of this type of yukkuri go through a bad time where there is very little to eat, in order to preserve the race, the carnivore types begin feasting on the hervibore types until the community of yukkuri are able to find a new plentyful environment.

In this way they are able to better preserve their species for a longer duration of extreme conditions whereas other yukkuri communities might have died out.

Yuyukkuri's Dream Land

One day Yuyukkuri awoke to find that her precious Dreamcast was missing. She was very distraught because she could not take it easy without it. Her distraught made her very hungry, so she went over to the fridge to eat a snack easy. When she went to the fridge she found it empty and the only thing left was a note inside. It was from Yukkuri Tewi and it said that she borrowed Yuyukkuri's Dreamcast and all of her food while Yuyukkuri was sleeping easy, and that she felt that Yuyukkuri would not mind. So, being hungry and unable to take it easy, Yuyukkuri slowly headed over to Eientei to reclaim her precious Dreamcast.

Bosses

Saigyukkuri Ayakashi - After absorbing the bean paste of thousands of Yukkuris, the Saigyou Ayakashi began to take on a new character. Rather than enticing travelers to die underneath its blossoms, it now enticed them to take it easy underneath its pink flowers. It also grew a face. (Stage 1 Boss: A Whispy Woods clone)

Yukkureimu & Yukkurissa - It looks like these two Yukkuris just found a new home to take it easy in, and Yuyukkuri is invading their new space, so they'll chase her out easy with some green blocks they found lying around.(Lololo and Lalala boss clones, Stage 2 bosses)

Yukkuri Flandre - Remirya isn't around, so it looks like Yukkuri Flan will have to bully Yuyukkuri intead. Two forms, first normal Flan flying around and attacking by ramming, second form she gets her mutated body and attacks. (Stage 3 Boss, Kracko clone)

Yukkuri Tewi - After coming all the way back to Eientei slowly, Yukkuri Tewi isn't going to just give up the Dreamcast easy, so she'll just pound Yuyukkuri into sakura mochi easy and then keep the Dreamcast for herself. She'll attack and pound with a wooden hammer. (Final boss, King Dedede clone)

Ending

After filling her belly and retrieving her Dreamcast (Happiness!), Yuyukkuri puts it on top of her head and starts the long slow trip back to Hakugyokurou so she can take it easy after a long hard day. Credits roll, and at the end she drops the Dreamcast and it breaks.

I Yukkurisa had given birth to a koyukkuri recently. It's older sister, a Yukkureimu, showed it and it's mother a river nearby. "Pwetty waders" The Koyukkuri shouted! "Let's take it easy!" the reimu shouted to it's family.

I was walking up to them as the mother and the young one flipped their hats into the water. The Mother and Reimu held sticks into the hat, and the young koyukkuri sat in her own hat.

It was a cute sight, and I had to ruin it somehow.

"Take it easy!" I said to the Yukkurisa and her family.

"Take it Easy" they all shouted back.

They had foolishly let go of the sticks, and the hats began drifting down the river.

Like a foolish family, it started to chase after the two hats it let go. "Save her easy!" The young Reimu commanded to her mother. The mother grabbed one of the sticks in her mouth, and bounced towards the floating hats. I followed them.

Just like I had studied, a Yukkuri's accessory is important to the Yukkuri, and one with no accessory is doomed to be hated by all Yukkuri. Naturally, the mother was reaching for it's own hat. It missed.

"Take it easy, mother Marisa" I said to it. "I'll help!"

And so I did. I reached out and grabbed the Koyukkuri and it's own hat. As I placed her on dry land, the Hat the mother owned floated by me. it was much closer to the edge than the koyukkuri I grabbed, but I made no motion towards it.

The mother ignored her safe child and followed the hat all the way down to a cavern. The cliff edge prevented her from following on dry land. She lept into the river, but I caught her before she could drown herself.

"I saved bother of you! Now you can take it easy" I said, intentionally mocking the Marisa who's negligence caused her to lose what all Yukkuri consider the most important. Tears began streaming down it's face.

"Why did you stop me mister!? I can never take it easy now!"

The Yukkureimu began screaming at it's mother. Obscenities among the Yukkuri. without it's hat, it was a monster now. Screaming at it's own mother for a simple accident. An accident that never would have happened if the Reimu herself hadn't suggested something dangerous.

"Mwommie is scawwee!" The Koyukkurisa shouted. It hid behind it's Big Sister. And for good reason. The mother was starting to glare towards her.

"That hat! Marisa made that hat. Please give it to me easy!" It shouted. The desperation in it's voice startled even me. What a horrible creature, to ignore the needs of it's own children.

"You should not take what belongs to your children! You are a bad Yukkuri, and I should punish you!"

And so I did. Despite it's cries and wails, I tied it to a tree branch, and under where she hung, I dug a large hole. 1 Meter wide, three meters deep. Installed at the bottom was a spinning blade that would mash any Yukkuri that fell into it into paste. Crying, screaming paste.

It's actually kind of hilarious now, since I tied the rope so securely. Many Yukkuri now a days come to the tree just to try and tackle the Accessoryless Yukkuri. They bump into her of course, but with no hard surface on the other side, she just waves back and forth. And the Yukkuri that tried to tackle her? She falls straight into the pit.

I have to clean it out every once in a while, but it's still fun watching the little things scream "Drop dead easy" just before they do the very thing themselves.

I'm curious.

If you forced two yukkuris of different types to wear each others head decorations, would they start to take on the behavioral patterns of the other type.

Would a Reimu given a Marisa's hat start saying "ze", "Drop dead easy!!!", and become the dominant over the Marisa with the Remiu ribbon? Would that Remiu start using analogies and similes in it's speech?

Would anything give an agressive Alice's headband start raping and declaring itself as "city sect" while the actual Alice goes tame?

Would the modded yukkuris family react as if those modified ones were the same as if they'd always been, or would they treat them as they would the other?

Would psychologically mindfucking with the yukkuris speed up the process? (You're a Remiu? But you wear a chen hat. Therefore you must be a Chen! But wouldn't a Remiu have Remiu decorations on it's head?)

Oh, dear lord. I'm over analyzing it, aren't I?

If you give a Yukkuri an Accessory different from it's own, it it want it's old accessory back. If you show that the Accessory is useless or gone forever, it will take another accessory from another yukkuri. The new accessory will not change the yukkuri in any way, however other yukkuris will likely mistake that yukkuri for one based on which accessory it is currently wearing.

This was in the story where a Marisa managed to beat up and kill a Remirya but lost her hat in the process. Not summary Anon, but awesome fic I found in the latest collection.

The yukkris gathered in secret, a huge collection of disembodied blobs bobbing up and down in the midst of the valley. It was a quiet gathering, with only a few cries of "Drop dead eajy!" and "Stop squashing me!" from a couple of the more tightly-packed ones. The only illumination on the overcast night were a couple of Moukotans, who were trying to headbutt an undefended Teruyo to death.

A Yukarin hopped to the middle, jumping up onto a raised piece of earth.

"Can't take it easy here anymore! They keep hurting us!"

There were shouts, catcalls of "Just take it easy!" and "Go slowly!", but the Yukarin jumped up and down, pulling a large piece of paper out of a Yukkirisa's hat.
"They're going to put us all in the factory!" Indeed, the plans on the paper did have ominous portents for the future of the Yukkris. Even though the crowd mostly were too stupid to read, it still elicited a shiver of fear out of them.

"Bud... where cand we dage id eajy?" asked a small Alice type.

"I'm beautiful! I'll show you where!" Taking out another piece of paper, the Yukarin held it up for all to see, and the gathered yukkris went wild with delight.

>> No.1122455

After the gathering, the Yukarin hopped off to the side, where it jumped through a gap.
"Ah, Mistress Yukari..." Ran Yakumo, the fox-youkai was on the other side, in one of the many rooms of Mayohiga.
"Ran, help it easy?" Stepping over to the Yukarin, Ran flexed sharp claws, and in one stroke tore it in two - it shrieked for a second before deflating, and from the ruined skin rose Yukari Yakumo, pulling clumps of natto from her hair.
"Gah, I'd rather not have to do that again," she said, heading towards the bath.
"Did... did it go well, mistress?" asked her shikigami.
"Oh, yes. They're easy enough to manipulate. And you-know-who is ready on the other side. Finally, those dratted things will be gone, and I can get some proper sleep."

Lunar Capital, control room 43

The first signs of problems came from the inner perimeter. Garbled screams and cries came over the antique radio system, waking up the communications bunny at the controls.
"What's happening over there, sector 5? Sector 5, come in!"

The station went dead abruptly. The moon rabbit swore and changed the frequency.

>> No.1122459

"So what's the problem? We can't pick up the outposts? There wasn't any inbound traffic, was there?"

"I don't know what it was, ma'am. But I don't think the girls in the perimeter are still still alive. Was- did you see something move out there?" On one of the balconies, the lunarian War Councillor was looking out over the edge of the crater's basin. She peered out, telescope focusing on the cliff wall. Then she saw it as well.

"My god..." At first, there were just a couple. Then a few more. And then a small avalanche of bouncing heads flew over the edge. They bounced off the floor and took flight, soaring in the low gravity looking like flying skulls cackling insanely across the dark starry sky. And not just the heads. Winged creatures of fire and blood, indescribable monstrosities of conjoined flesh and machine crawled over the edge. One of the morbid vehicles flew across their field of view; barely legible on the side through satanic runes were the words 'Makai Tour Services: Back in business!'

"Mobilise the army! Get ready to repel- look out, councillor!" Some kind of interdimensional rift was opening directly behind the War Minister. And one of the disembodied heads flew out of it, jumping on her. "Take it hungry!" it shouted.

"NO!" Leaping forward, the moon bunny lunged at the blob, but another one appeared out of the gap, and it opened its mouth impossibly wide, only to engulf her. She felt a rush of air as it closed its mouth

Reisen Udongein Inaba landed, the familiar low pull of the moon's gravity on her making for an easy touchdown. It had been a day since she had lost communications with her fellow moon rabbits. Eirin had agreed to let her use one of the lunar veils to return to see what was going on...
"Dear Creator..." The Lunar Capital was aflame. Winged demons flew through the sky, disembodied heads glided through the air, bodies were littered across the moon's floor and city. Her fists clenched as she saw the limp forms of her former comrades strewn like dolls over the landscape. She unslung her rifle and turned, coming face to face with a giant distended yukkri head.
"You... you're huge! That means you've got rabbits in your guts!" She slotted the bayonet lug into place on the end of the weapon, and raised it over her head.

"Oh, the past is the past - there's no need to hold grievances when both sides stand something to gain. And now your tour operating industry will be able to revitalise the Makai economy, the yukkris have a safe place to stay, and Gensyoko is no longer bothered by their caterwauling. No offence, Chen." Chen, too busy playing with Hourai, didn't notice.

"And you take revenge for the 'loss' you suffered all those centuries ago against the moon, I guess?"

"Oh, no. That was purely coincidental, of course. After all, the past is in the past. By the way, how did the invasion fare?"

Here's my favorite one. That one was pretty good with the ending, but this one is short and sweet.

A new yukkuri repellent, a form of incense, has recently become very popular, especially among farmers. One group of Reimu-Marisa-Chen-Myon attempt to ravage a field, but get driven away by the incense. Upon hiding in a cave, and while discussing how horrible that was, they get caught by the factory guys with a net and taken to a room. One of the employees brings them a box, which they think contains food, but it actually contains incense. Still in the net, they can do nothing but scream. The man takes the Reimu out, but before it can thank him he puts it into the incense box. It starts throwing up its bean paste. The other yukkuris are going crazy, some throwing up and some eating the vomited bean paste. In the end, the Reimu has shrunk to a tiny size, but it's still alive. The man crushes it, rolls up its skin on a stick, and puts its accessory on the end. He then puts the Chen in the box, and lights that stick. The Chen starts screaming, and the other two are laughing like maniacs, driven insane by the incense. The materials used for its production are the best kept secret of the factory; skin and accessories of yukkuris.

Are we reaching the image limit soon? If someone has to make a new thread, make sure it's just a yukkuri thread.
Also, another great summary from the Yu.doc.

Anon finds a Yukkureimu/Yukkurisa couple on the street. They're chewing on a daikon which they've obviously stolen, so he decides to punish them by taking their accessories. He distracts them by telling them to take it easy, and as they're replying, he runs away. They chase him until it gets dark, but he hides and watches. They give up, crestfallen, and go back to the mountains. He follows them. They find their former friends, who start insulting them because they have no decorations. The two start crying, and the others beat them up, killing them. Anon feels he has made a great discovery, so he feels like continuing the experiment. He reveals himself, saying "let me take it easy here", which makes all the yukkuris trust him. He says that he came to return the accessories of their friends, who went all the way to dangerous places to get food for their friends. He keeps telling them how their friends tried their best for them, until they break down and start crying, screaming. vomiting, going crazy, crushing their children, biting their tongues off and many other wonderful things. In the end, they start eating each other. Anon does this two more times. The third time, two yukkuris are left standing. One is laughing like a maniac, and one is trembling. He crushes the maniac, and takes the other one home. It doesn't even respond to the phrase "take it easy", and it only moves when he puts food in its mouth. He enjoys thinking of ways to bring it back.

Why? Too much for them?

Is that sum yukkuri fanart by ZUN?

It can't be; the hands are too well drawn.

It's really kind of insidious. If this were, in fact, the case, the people who think they're doing the most to harm and destroy them are actually the ones being corrupted for the true purposes of the yukkuri's masters.

The more convoluted the schemes and experiments they conduct on yukkuris, the further they fall into . . . wait, does this mean that Tzeentch is a potential suspect as well?

Too deep. And uh...image limit reached I guess.

>>1122723
This artist is so damn confusing. Sometimes they do great, and other times shit looks like this.

>> No.1122752

any compilation on RS for all the translated yukkuri scans?

>> No.1122764

>>1122610

I'm pretty sure that yukkuris have no soul. My theory is that the C'tan had tried to create a Touhou Pariah, so that it could do something (still working on this part) but had failed and created the yukkuris. The reason why everybody tortures them is because of the hole in the Warp that they feel.

I do a collection every once in awhile. Some people were complaining they couldn't use megaupload, so here.

Only missing the translations made today. Just stuff them in there. It's mostly sorted and has a lot of artists' names. Get the Yu.doc from wherever it was posted in this thread. Enjoy.

If someone makes a new thread, make sure to link it here.

Ignore those faggots. MU is infinitely better than the "LOL 40kB/s DOWNLOAD LIMIT" shit RS pulls.

I'll probably consider uploading to Megaupload next time when the archive hits 400 megabytes.

When the new thread is created, would people rather just have the translated folder? I could upload that pretty quickly.

>> No.1122835

>>1122825

translated only, sure i'll have it. also, MU please. download that 90+ MB rar for 40 min when it should be taking 10 minutes or less

You know what I just realized? That one black and white artist drew someone pulling off a branch from a Yukkureimu, taking its kids.

In another picture, a Remirya is telling a branch to "Fall it easy!". The branch is obviously not its own. Possibly a continuation?

Upload is almost done. Just need someone to make a new thread so I can post it and head to bed. I'd just end up setting up a thread and leaving it to sleep if I start one myself.
