What image viewer you use? The one that can look into zip archive.

I use mangameeya, the underdeveloped, long lost technology with no patch update.
It doesn't even show thumbnail preview of some zip and rar file, and I don't know why. But it control is good enough so I deal with it.

Recommend any new zip/rar archive image viewer?

Here, a pic of my random folder. This one is reitaisai10.

Almost half the files don't show thumbnail in explorer mode. It's cool when I open up individual archive and read, but managing and checking duplicate is a pain.

I use Mcomix for that. Add files into library, then sort by file size or something like that.

CDisplayEX for reading CBR=RAR & CBZ=ZIP manga
IrfanView for generic stuff (cropping/converting/recompressing etc)
XnView for specific stuff (PS2/PSP images, raw HCG via Susie plugins etc.)

I was going to suggest checking the rar/zip file so they contain a single folder with all the images inside, because when the folder is decompressed it won't show a thumbnail if there is another folder inside, but this doesn't seem to happen with compressed files. (pic related).

And one thing I noticed is that all the problematic files are .zip
Maybe you could try to decompress/re-compress them with winrar, the zip file could be damaged somehow.

And as I said, I don't have any problems at all.
