Go and 1cc PCB on Lunatic first, and then go and pick any of the games and play it on Lunatic. Never play on anything below Lunatic, it's too easy on Hard and below and will give you really bad habits. Lunatic is true arcade difficulty, so you'll be getting the full experience.

Are you still living in 2006 when all Westerners were terrible at Touhou? New players can clear these games on Lunatic within a week or two of practice if they do it right. In fact, I'd say that a lot of people first clear PCB Lunatic before anything else.
