I actually liked the Inaba manga. It was a fun take-it-easy sort of gag manga that I really enjoyed. I also consider it "canon", at least to a limited extent. Like, I'm willing to accept that Kaguya took a tour of Gensokyo via cart, or that Toyohime and Yorihime visited Earth to see Eirin. That all makes sense. It's when it starts going into loony-toon physics that I start to wonder.

I find it somewhat curious that people choose to completely disregard Inaba of the Moon, Inaba of the Earth. I mean, it was an official work under Team Shanghai Alice, right?

Perhaps you didn't notice but Yorihime didn't use (or even have) any spell cards when she fought Team Remilia. The only time she took any hits and any damage whatsoever was when Remilia wasn't using spell cards and kept to raw speed and power, in fact it surprised me that Yorihime was actually briefly overpowered by Remilia... but then again she's probably not that fast to begin with.

By virtue of her ability, though, I would expect Toyohime to be at least as fast as Yukari with her gaps, but again, her combat abilities haven't been shown (and probably never will be). She did at least display familiarity on a personal level with Yukari and was completely confident she would ream her in battle, even with Ran at her side.

Yeah, it was a little too happy-go-lucky when there weren't visitors or when they went outside the forest. And yes, the Inaba manga is at least partially canon; ZUN gave the artist the general idea of what to work with and who to put in when, but left creative control over the details to said artist. Suika and Tenshi beat everyone controlled by the player and get beaten in pretty much every route that isn't their own by the player.

Yorihime beats everyone in badly written/drawn fights and never loses since she is too special for that. Player is never involved.

They're not necessarily stronger than Eirin, she's the one that taught and trained them in the first place, and you'd have to be godly-beyond-godly powerful to do that. Eirin being a goddess, that wasn't difficult, but she's a special case anyway. In the thousand years or so she's been in hiding, though, Eirin may have gotten weaker while the sisters have gotten stronger, so at the very least I would imagine Toyohime is stronger at this point.
