i havnt played animal crossing either, but from what i gather its like harvest moon, but with more characters, character interaction, and customization. If it actually is like that ill be terribly addicted. actually glad i dont have a 3ds or id have even less time than i do now. I was playing online on the island internationally and a Japanese girl came in.
She didn't know much English and I don't know much Japanese but we managed to talk for a while and we traded FCs.

I havent had access to the island yet though I talked to tortimer so Ill be able to go there tomorrow I think. I take it you can go there online or something?

Speaking of online I tried looking into that HRA house area and I havent seen a single house come up. And one time I tried to go to a random town online I dont think any place showed up for me. Am I doing something wrong or I just ave to wait and try different times for the houses to show up/be able to access the online features?

Also I am afraid to let guests in my town as I never had the experience of playing with someone else let alone online. Are there a lot of grifers or something? Like people just come in to chop all your trees down or leave trash everywhere or something?

Yes, my friend has the NA version and I have JP and we visit each other all the time.

All the villagers speak in whichever language they're being talked to in, but the building names are based on which town it's in. Meaning my shoe store is called Shoe Shank even on his game (normally it's "Kick's" I believe)

Is there no way to get more storage capability? I'm a hoarder and my slots get filled up with various clothes, furniture and items very quickly. Getting a house expansions does helps but the new rooms or expanded rooms get filled up immediately.
